ABC party

Narrator: Hello, dear guests! We are glad to see you here. Today we are going to show you our pupils’ knowledge, how they are good at speaking, singing, reciting the poems in English. You can see it from the story about “A Day Of  Pete”.

                        “A Day Of Pete” (Presentation)

                                                     Sketch.                                                                                                                                                  Once there was a boy named Pete. He had a mother, father. They lived in a little house. One day Pete got up at 8 o’clock in the morning. He washed his face and his hands. He saw his mother lying table in the kitchen.

Pete:  Good morning, Mum!

Mother: Good morning, dear!

(Pete did his morning exercise)

Song.              Hands up, hands down.

            Hands on hips

            Sit down.

            Stand up,

            Hands on sides

            Bend left

            Bend right

            1,2,3 hop

            1,2,3 stop

            Stand still.

Author: They have had breakfast and he is going  to school. At school he has ABC party. He recited poems and sang   ABC song together with his classmates.

Letter A: A is for apples and apple trees. You can see apples on apple trees.

Letter B: b is for books and for bag. I have many books in my bag.

Letter C: C is for cat. My cat is grey, and it likes to play with me.

Letter D: D is for dog and for doggy. I have a dog, not a doggy.

Letter E: E is eight and for eleven. How much is eight and eleven?

Letter F: Flowers here, flowers there, flowers are everywhere.

Letter G: Look at me! I am the letter G.

               G is for girl and also for garden.

Letter H: I am the letter H.

                H is for hand.

                I have two hands.

               This is a way

               I clap my hands.

 

Letter I: Ice cream starts with the letter I,

              But I think, I is for I.

              I am a boy, and I am eight.

Letter J: J is for jam. This is an apple jam.

              Jimmy likes it and so does Sam.

Letter K: K is for kitten. It is little and it is grey.

Letter L: I see a big yellow lion, a big yellow lion!

               What a big yellow lion!

               What a lion! What a lion!

               L is for lions.

Letter M: I am the letter M. M is for a mouse.

Letter N: N is for numbers.

                N is for nine, ninety and ninety-nine.

Letter O: O is for orange, orange

                I like to eat orange!

                I don’t like porridge!

Letter P: I am the letter P. P is for pen and for a pupil.

Letter Q: Q is for questions: “How are you?”

               “How old are you?”, and “how do you do?”

Letter R: I am the letter R.

               R is for brown, grey and green, too,

               But in white, yellow or blue.

Letter S: Street begins with the letter S

               S for street. This is my street

 

Letter T: I am the letter T. T is for tigers and toys.

 

Letter U: U is for under, but not for at.

 

Letter V: V is for vegetables!

            This is the season

            When vegetables grow.

 

Letter X: I am the letter X. X is for xylophone.

 

Letter Y: Y is for yard where children play,

                They play in the yard every day.

 

Letter Z: I am the last letter Z. Z is for Zoo. Let’s go to the Zoo!

                   Now I know the alphabet.

They also sang a song about Mother.

After the lesson Pete played with his friends.

Pete: Bob, do you want to play?

Bob: Yes, I do. What games do you like to play?

Pete: I like to play “London bridge”

Bob: Let’s play “London bridge” Then I will call other boys.

Pete: OK. Ben, let’s play “London bridge”

Ben: I’d love to, but I want to play building blocks. Do you like to play it?

Bob: Yes, of course. First let’s play “London bridge” then “Building blocks”

Ben: All right.

“London bridge” (Chorus, pupils act)

            London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down

            London bridge is falling down

            My fair lady.

            Pete: Let’s play “Building Blocks”              

                                    Song “Building blocks” (Chorus, pupils act)

            What can I build?

            Building blocks, building blocks

            I can build a little cottage

Author: He came back home and had a tea with his parents.

Dad: Come here Pete! We are having tea.

Pete: OK, Dad.

Mum: Do you want tea with milk?

Pete: Yes, I do.

Dad: Do you want sugar?

Pete: No, I don’t. Thanks, I want to watch TV.

Dad: OK.

Author: There was a cartoon called “Bumble bees” on TV.

Pete:  Bumble  bees!!! (suddenly he screamed)

                        The story about bees

Leader: The Queen bee! (all bees stop and bow their heads for the Queen)

Queen:  I come to visit my people. I love you so much. I’ll give food to you.

Bees: Yeheey!

Leader:  Thank you our Queen. You are very kind to us.

            We will make you happy today. We are going to show our talents.

Queen: Oh, I love to see that.

Leader:  Are you ready bees?

Bees: Yes we are.

Leader:  Let’s shout!

Bees: We are the mighty, mighty bees.

            We are the bees. The best among the rest!(2x)

Leader: Bees we will sing the Baby Bumble bee

Bees: I’m bringing home a baby bumble bee     

            Won’t my Mummy be so proud of me.

            I’m bringing home a baby bumble bee.

            Ouch! It stung me.     

I’m squishing up the baby bumble bee

Won’t my Mummy be so proud of me.

I’m squishing up the baby bumble bee

Ew! It’s yucky.

            I’m wiping of the baby bumble bee.

            Won’t my mommy be so proud of me.

            I’m wiping of the baby bumble bee

            Now my mommy won’t be mad at me.

Leader: Our Queen, listen to our poems.

Bee1:              I’ve got a dog,

His nose is black

                        We run and play

                        I love my dog!

Bee2: I’ve got a dog

           Her name is Pat

           She can do this

          She can do that.

Bee3: Look at my dog!

          Tricks she can do.

          I love my dog.

         She loves me, too.

            Names

This is Jack

And that is Jill.

This is Bell

And that is Bill.

This is Al,

And that is Dot

This is Pussy

And that is Spot.

 

Leader: Bees, let’s sing our song “I can sing a rainbow”

Together. Red and yellow and pink and green

                Purple and orange and blue

                I can sing a rainbow

               Sing a rainbow

               Sing a rainbow, too.

Leader: I hope you liked our presentation dear Queen.

Queen: I enjoyed it so much. I’m going back now to the palace. I hope to visit you next week to bring food once again.

Leader: So long our Queen. Thank you very much.           

                                                       (The bees go out)

Author: At that time Pete’s mother said him.

Mum: Pete it’s time to go to bed. It’s nine o’clock.

Pete: Ok, Mum. I’m coming. Mum, can you sing me a song?

Mum: Yes, I can my dear.

Mum sings.     Twinkle, twinkle little star

How I wonder what you are

Up above the world so high

Like a diamond in the sky

Author: It was a one day of the boy Pete. By this story we tried to show you our pupils’ talents. We hope you’ve enjoyed it. Thank you. Now we want to finish our party with a song “Goodbye”
