bridge is falling down,
Falling
down, falling down.

Myfairlady!
And

London. On the right bank of the Thames you can see the Tower of London. (слайд

Beefeater: Hello, dear friends. We are going to the Tower of
London. Its history is long and fascinating. It is the most famous fortress in
the world. William the Conqueror started to build it in 1076. The walls of the
Tower are 5 meters thick. They have 18 towers and two gates. Each Tower has its
own name.
Ch.3 What’s the name of the big tower in the centre?
B.: It’s the White Tower. Here you can see a large
collection of old guns, Kings’ armor, flags and the sculptures of King’s
horses. Now let’s go to the Jewel House – the most interesting place in the
Tower. This is where you can see the Crown jewels.
Ch1. Wow, it sounds great!
Ch3. Amazing! Whose crown is it?
B: This is Saint Edward’s Crown. All our queens and
kings are crowned with it. The crown was used last time to crown Elizabeth II
on June, 1952.
Ch3. Look, the black ravens!
B. When the Tower was a prison where many people died
black ravens had much food near the walls. Since then Black ravens constantly
live here. We have 6 of them. The English people like them very much. A man
looks after the ravens and gives them food in the morning and in the evening.
That is all in brief. Thank you for your attention.

Hall, chief commissioner of works at that time. Or Benjamin Caunt, a worker.
