“TRAVEL WITH ENGLISH”
Цель: повторить выученный материал в виде игры; учить запоминать иностранные слова; обогащать словарный запас, развивать навыки аудирования; расширить мировоззрение учеников касательно страны, язык которой изучают; содействовать в изучении английского языка.
Участники: 2 команды учеников; члены жюри; ведущий.
Оборудование: Раздаточный материал, музыкальное сопровождение, сигнальные карточки для команд, секундомер.
T. Hello, children. Today we have an unusual lesson. At the end of it you’ll get not the marks but the prizes and you have to compete for them. The first your task is to be divided into 2 teams. Each team should choose its name and captain.
You’ll travel on the “English Train”, which will bring you to different stations. Your task is to take the maximum of the tickets from each station (it will be your points). The team with the biggest number of tickets – wins.
Station “English-speaking Countries”
Each team gets the letters to form 3 names of English-speaking countries. The first team can get 3 tickets.
Team 1: C.A.N.A.D.A; A.M.E.R.I.C.A.; S.C.O.T.L.A.N.D.
Team 2: E.N.G.L.A.N.D; N.E.W. Z.E.A.L.A.N.D; A.U.S.T.R.A.L.I.A. (All the letters are mixed)
You’ll hear the word, your task is to say its antonym as quickly as possible. For each right antonym a team gets 1 ticket.

The captains of the teams are invited. Now we’ll check your actor abilities. Each captain get 3 pictures, he should show the subject on the picture with his face, gestures, but without words. The limit of time for each picture is 1 minute. If the team guesses the picture it gets 1 ticket.

Station “Revise Grammar Rules”
Now we are going to revise some grammar rules. Each team gets 5 sentences and you should divide them into:
