Цели:
Тренировка чтения новых слов.
Тренировка учащихся в употреблении лексики по данной
тематике.
Тренировка речевого образца (What do you eat?)
Развитие монологической и диалогической речи.
Практика в воспитании и понимании речи на слух с
опорой на наглядность.
Развитие памяти и логического мышления.
Ход урока
Начало урока. Организационный момент. Приветствие.
Teacher: Good day, our guests!
Pupils: Good day, our guests! We are glad to see you.
Teacher: How are you?
Pupils: We are fine. Thank you.
Teacher: Take you seats, please! Children, who is absent
today?
Pupils: (отвечают)
Teacher: Children what do you have for you breakfast?
Фонетическая зарядка.
T: Our topic today is “English food”. We’ll talk about
English breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper.
We’ll discuss the English food. At the lesson we’ll work at
the text “English meals”. So let’s begin our work with the reading of new
words”:
Salad jelly biscuit
Chicken burger potatoes orange
juice
Cheese pizza carrots
Cereal honey boiled
eggs
Bread tomatoes soup
Berry pudding fried eggs

T: Listen to the text and answer the question.
Breakfast is the first meal of the day, and most people have
cereal. A cooked breakfast, bacon, eggs and tomatoes is usually only eaten on
special occasions, when there is time to prepare one. Lunch (called dinner in
some parts of Britain) is eaten in the middle of the day, sometime between
twelve and one. Dinner (called tea in some parts of Britain) is eaten in the
early evening, often between five and six o’clock. Some people have supper,
which is a light meal, eaten late in the evening, as well.
T: 1. How many meals a day do British people have?
P: (They have breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper.
T: 2. Do we live eat?
P: (We cant live without food.)
T: Scientist say that we eat about half – a – ton of food a
year – not counting drink. Some people eat even more.
According to the world Health Organization Americans are the
fattest in the world. 55% of women and 63% of men over 25 are overweight are
obese. Doctors say that you are obese if you weight at least 30% above ideal
body weight. The reason lack of exercises. We spend too much time in front of
our computers and TV sets. We walk less, because we prefer to use cars or
public transport.

T: And now repeat after me. (Учитель читает слова, дети повторяют

English meals
The usual English breakfast
is rather substantial. English people eat toasts, marmalade,
scrambled eggs, bacon and cornflakes in the morning. They eat
cornflakes with milk.
They usually eat fish and chips, meat with
potatoes, hamburgers for lunch.
Englishmen have their dinner in the evening.
The most important time for
Englishmen is tea-time (at 5 o'clock). They like to drink cream tea with scones and jam.

L: For my lunch I have some tea and cakes. I don’t like
rolls because I eat cakes.
Y: In my lunch I have some milk and chocolate. I like
oranges and banana, but today don’t have them. Do you like bananas and oranges?
L: Yes, I do. I like bananas, apples and oranges,
but for my dinner I like some soup and bread. What do you usually have in you
dinner?
Y: For my dinner I have some meat and potatoes.
Teacher: Thank you Y. and L. for you dialogue and take you
seats, please.
