The course of the lesson  
1. Greeting

Good morning, boys and girls! Sit down, please! How are you today?

2. Organization moment:

T.: Who is on duty today?

What is your name?

What is your surname?

Which class are you in?

What date is it today?

Who is absent today?

3. Phonetic drill.

Dear children, let’s begin our lesson with a phonetic exercise.(1st slide)

Repeat after me all together.

New Year’s Eve all British celebrate on the 31st of December. Most people see with friends and relatives.

At midnight they sing New Year songs and wish a happy New Year.
