Урок по теме “Спорт”
Цели урока:
Образовательные:
- Активизировать
имеющиеся в опыте учащихся знания, полученные на уроках английского языка,
или на уроках по другим предметам, а так же из литературы, газет,
телепередач и т.д. по теме “Спорт”.
- Формирование навыка
употребления активной лексики раздела, формирование коммуникативной
культуры школьников, развитие культуры устных высказываний.
- Тренировать
учащихся в составлении монологической речи по теме.
Развивающие:
- Развитие
коммуникабельности, самостоятельности, умения сотрудничать; развитие
способности к логическому изложению, к формированию выводов.
Воспитательные:
- Воспитание
положительного, уважительного отношения к спорту, истории и культуре своей
страны.
- Воспитание чувства
патриотизма, гордости за свою родину.
Оснащение
урока:
- карточки с упражнениями;
- магнитофон, компьютер, доска, проектор, экран;
- упражнения с заданиями, выполненные на компьютере с помощью
программы для презентаций “Power Point”

Цель: введение в тему урока, целеполагание.
T.: Good morning, boys and girls. Today I
hope we will have an interesting and a thrilling lesson. Today we are going to
speak about sports in Russia. We shall find out what sports you like or maybe
dislike. We’ll discuss the coming Olympic Games in Sochi.
Now I’ve got a kind of surprise
for you. We’ll watch a clip, then we’ll discuss it, I’m sure you will
guess what it is about.
Be very attentive watching it, because after it you have to answer some
questions.

III. Речевая зарядка на основе просмотренного

Цель: активизация ранее изученной лексики по теме
«Спорт», извлечение основной информации из видео ролика.

IV. Введение новой лексики. (Introducing new vocabulary.)
Цель: фонетическая отработка новых лексических единиц,
первичное закрепление в ответах на вопросы.
T.:Well
done. I hope you like the way how our country is shown in this clip. Now let’s
continue speaking about sport, especially I want you to learn some winter
sports that you’ll be able to watch during Olympic Games in Sochi. Look at the
blackboard please.
Т.: What winter sports do you know? Do you know the names of any of
these sports? ...
Pay attention to the pronunciation of the words:
Учитель читает слова.
На слайде
представлены названия зимних олимпийских видов спорта, введение лексики
(перевод) осуществляется при помощи дефиниций. Учитель произносит слово, говорит
дефиниции, описывающие особенности каждого вида спорта, дети догадываются как
переводится каждое название.
T. Listen to me very
attentive and try to guess the name of each sport.

1. Skiing лыжный спорт; ходьба на лыжах
It is an athletic activity using skis.
2.Alpine skiing (downhill-
скоростной спуск,slalom- слалом,giant slalom- гигантский слалом)

A
traditional winter sport consists of slalom, downhill skiing, giant slalom.
Downhill is an alpine skiing discipline.
Slalom is also an alpine skiing discipline.
3.Nordic combined лыжное двоеборье
It is a winter sport in which athletes compete in both
ski running and ski jumping.
4.Ski jumping прыжки с трамплина
It is a sport in which skiers go down, jump
and attempt to land as far as possible down the hill below.
5.Biathlon
биатлон
A winter
sport combining (cross-country) skiing and rifle shooting.
6.Ski cross ски-кросс (фристайл)(слайд2 презентация 1)
The sport is
more appealing to younger generations and is similar in nature to snowboarding.
This style of skiing is really dangerous. The other name of it is freestyle.
Mogul skiing - могул (дисциплина
лыжного спорта)
7.Bobsleigh бобслей
- It is a winter sport in which teams of two or four
make speeding down narrow iced tracks in a bob (sled ). (слайд2 презентация 1)
8.Skeleton (sport) скелетон ср. бобслей (Зимний вид спорта, сродни бобслею)
It is a fast winter sliding sport in which a person rides a
small sled down a frozen track while lying face
down.
9.Luge санный
спорт
It is a winter sliding sport similar bobsleigh, but
they use different equipment.
Of the three
Olympic sliding sports, (bobsleigh and skeleton), this one is the fastest and most dangerous.
10. Figure skating фигурное катание
A very
popular and beautiful winter sport, where athletes perform
spins, jumps and other intricate moves on ice skates.
11.Speed skating конькобежный спорт
It is a competitive form of ice skating in which the competitors race each other on skates.
Types of speed skating are long track speed skating,
short track speed skating,
and marathon speed skating.
12.Short track speed skating скоростной бег на коньках на короткой
дорожке
This sport is a form of ice speed skating. Involving
short distances skaters skate on an oval ice track .
13.Ice hockey хоккей на льду
It is played
on a large flat area of ice, using a rubber disc called a puck.
14.Snowboarding сноубординг
It is a sport that involves descending a
slope (спуск под уклон)
that is covered with snow on a snowboard.
15.Curling керлинг
It is a sport in which players slide
stones across an ice ground towards a target area. They use a stone and special
brushes.

Учитель организует вопросно-ответную работу по
теме «Спорт». Ученики отвечают на вопросы учителя. Один и тот же вопрос может
быть задан нескольким учащимся. Учитель побуждает детей давать полные ответы
на поставленные вопросы.

монологического высказывания на основе проведенного исследования.
Цель: развивать умение кратко высказываться в
связи с ситуацией общения, используя аргументацию и выражая свое отношение к
предмету речи.
T.: A
week ago you I asked you a question: “Are winter sports popular in our city?”
As I noticed you worked hard and with great pleasure. You have worked in
groups, now take your seats according to your groups.
Before you’ll start to present the results of your survey
I want you to look through the following statements, discuss them in your
groups and give your final conclusion. Don’t forget to use new words, we’ve
learnt today.
Каждая группа получает карточку с утверждениями:
1. Nowadays PE lessons are not held outside in winter.
2. Winter season lasts for at least 6 months, moreover
it’s often severe.
3. Winter sports are expensive (equipment, outdoor
sport facilities).
Обсудив предложенные утверждения один представитель
группы предлагает анализ проведенного исследования (анкеты) и отвечает на
заранее полученный вопрос «Are winter sports popular in our city», основываясь на предложенные
утверждения.(Каждая группа заранее готовит обзор анкет на листе).

Thank you for your work. Winter sports are characterized by high speed,
excitement, sometimes danger and they are popular almost all over the world.
Today we can’t say that they are very popular in our region, our city in spite
of the fact that winter season lasts for at least 6 months. But we hope that
the situation is going to be changed due to the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014. Do
you agree with me children?
