Повторение и закрепление знаний учащихся по теме «Занятия на каникулах».

1) Обеспечить в ходе урока повторение и закрепление учащимися лексики по данной теме.

2) Содействовать расширению кругозора учащихся.

3) Развивать навыки чтения и говорения.

Present Indefinite tense.

The procedure of the lesson:

T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

How are you today? What’s the weather like today?

Ex. 1 p. 13 Look at the words in the box. Let’s read them. Divide these words into 3 groups: sports, hobbies and school subjects.

Describing of the picture.

Do you have any questions concerning your home work? Was it difficult for you? Give me your copybooks!

The theme of our lesson is “Holiday activities”. Today we will talk about the activities, which children usually do on holidays.

Ex. 2 p. 13 Answer the questions about activities you like doing in summer.

Ex. 3 p. 14 Open your vocabularies and write down the new words. Now read the texts by yourselves and match each text with the picture. Let’s translate these texts.

Ex. 4 p. 14 Complete the table.

Open your books at page 193 and read grammar rules.

Ex. 5 p. 15 Complete the questions about Kate.

Ex. 6 p. 15 Write questions about Steve and read them.

Ex.8 p. 16 Complete the chart about yourself answering the questions.

Ex. 9 p. 16 Write a few sentences about you using the table and read them to the class.

Ex. 10 p. 16 Pair work. Student A – information on this page, student B – information on page 187. Read your information and ask and answer each other questions.
