культуры, активность, направленную на решение учебных задач; воспитывать
уважение к культурным ценностям страны изучаемого языка

Употреблять в устной речи новые лексические единицы,
речевые и грамматические структуры по теме урока, правильно их переводить,
обращая особое внимание на правильный перевод артикля;

T. Today at the lesson we will start working
with the extract from Сharles Dickens’ “The Pickwick Papers",
develop your lexical and reading skills, understanding of the authentic text
& translate the extract. We will make some exercises to practice.
III. Этап актуализации знаний. 4

Aim: To motivate the pupils to recollect previous
knowledge.
T. Look at the title of the lesson and suggest
what you think it will be about?
P1. The lesson will be about Dickens’ “The
Pickwick Papers" T. Well, now watch the presentation.
T. Tell me please, what will you learn by the
end of the lesson?
P1. By the end of the lesson we will learn the
new facts about Сharles Dickens and his amazing novel The Pickwick
Papers" P2. By the end of the lesson we will learn more things
about the characters of the novel.
