оборудование: компьютер, экран, учебник, карточки с изображениями.
Отрабатываемые навыки:
• активизация изученной ранее тематической лексики,
мотивирование учащихся на дальнейшую работу по теме.
• повторение изученных и введение новых слов по теме
«Праздники».
• развитие умения передавать содержание с опорой на
заметки/тезисы (монологическая речь).
• развитие умения выборочно понимать на слух необходимую
информацию (с опорой на иллюстрации).
Задачи:
·активизация изученной ранее тематической лексики,
мотивирование учащихся на дальнейшую работу по теме.

our lesson.
Teacher: Who is on duty
today? (I am on duty today…..)
Who is absent? (…….)
What date is it today? (The

3)
Постановка цели и задач урока. Мотивация учебной деятельности учащихся.

Teacher: Children! Something
bad happened! An evil witcher has stolen all happiness from the world. It
means that everybody will be sad and gloomy! It is a very very bad situation.
Do you think we can do something with it?
Students: Yes!
T.: But how? How can we bring
laugh and happiness back to people?
Students offer different
asnwers.
T.: When do you think people
get more happiness?
Students name different
celebrations and feast.
T.: It measn that we should
show the witcher how to celebrate great feasts and then we will convince her
to bring them back! So what are going to do today?
Students say that they are
going to learn about celebration.
T.: In order to increase our
chances to get happiness back let’s split into two teams. Each ot

4) Усвоение

T.: The evil
witch has hidden the celebrations and we should find it in the forest. In
order to find them and to bring back celebrations and happiness we should
overcome the witch’s spells.
Exercise
1.
T.: First,
we shoud show her that we know how happiness looks look. You should work in
your groups. I will show you the pictures and you should name the thing
depicted there faster than another group.
Children
form groups. Teacher shows the pictures with depiction of parade, New Year
celebration, festivals, family dinners, pumpkin pie, decorations etc.
Exercise
2.
T.: the
witch mixed everything and we do not know when we should celebrate these
feast. Let’s find out.
S.: Students
work in two groups and attach the pictures with different celebrations to the
seasons. Then Teacher asks what month each feast is celebrated.
Exercise
3.
T.: The
witch is very cunning. She does not want to give up! In order to understand
where we can find the celebrations, you should listen. Open page 97 and look
at exercise 7. We will listen the recording and you should match pictures to
each other. It will show her that we are vert serious and we are not going to
let her take our celebrations!
Students
listen the recording and work in groups.
Exercise
4.
T.: The
witch has almost decided to give us back our happiness. Let’s show her why
the celebrations are so important in our lives. You should presentation in
your groups a presentation about a chosen feast. You can use these phrases
and words.
Teacher
gives the vocabulary to use and then students prepare and give a
presentation.

5) Закрепление
материала, групповая работа

T: The witch has been almost
convinced! She wants to give it to us back! But she thinks if it is worthy.
Let's tell her more about different celebrations. In order to do so find a
text on the page 96. Let's read it together. Do you know all words that you
find in the text? Do you like the text?
Let's split into four groups
with 2 students in each. We have four teams and you
should prepare a small presentation about one celebrations we have in Russia
in Autumn, Spring, Winter, and Summer. After 10 minutes, each group will show
the witch their presentations.
Students perform their
presentations.
T.: Look! The witch has given
us happines back! (звучит радостая музыка). Well done! It was such a good
job!

(подведение итогов занятия)

T.: Did you like our class?
Do you understand everything? Was it interesting and new for you? Did you not
get bores? You can smiles on you table to show how you like today’s class.
Please, bring up that smile that you feel express your feeling and thoughts
about the class.

Students can choose from
three options:
1) To write a story “The most
memorable celebration” (no less than 15 sentences)
2) To draw a picture “The
most memorable celebration” and to name all details of the picture
3) To read the text on the
page 96 and write down unknown words.
