 Разработка урока английского языка в 5 классе по теме « Школьная жизнь»

 

                                              Учитель английского языка  Чеглакова Татьяна Сергеевна

                                               МАОУ – Лицей №19 г.Королёва МО               

 

 

Цели урока: формирование коммуникативной, лингвострановедческой и

                        социокультурной компетентности учащихся  в ходе изучения

                        темы «Школа. Школьная жизнь».

 

Учебные задачи: активизация лексики по теме «Школа» в устной и письменной

                                речи учащихся;

                                совершенствование навыков употребления грамматических структур в

                                Present Simple, оборота “to be going to”;

                                обучение написанию письма личного характера.

                               

Развивающие задачи: развитие навыков устной (аудирование, чтение, говорение)

                                        и письменной речи.

 

 Воспитательные задачи: воспитание патриотических чувств к родной стране, к

                                               своей школе;

                                               воспитание уважения и толерантности к культуре других

                                               народов.

 

Оборудование урока: лексико-грамматические задания для работы на интерактивной

                                        доске Smart Board; компьютерная презентация “Our School Life”,

                                        фрагмент видеофильма “School in Britain”(Oxford English Video).

 

Форма проведения урока: виртуальная экскурсия по школе.

 

Учебное пособие: УМК  М. З. Биболетовой для 5-6 класса, М.: Просвещение, 2009.

     4. Просмотр фильма. Выполнение задания.                                  (10 мин)

 

     5. Драматизация диалогов по теме «Школьная жизнь».            (5 мин)

 

      6. Обучение написанию письма личного характера.                  ( 5 мин)

 

      7. Домашнее задание, итог урока                                                    ( 2 мин)

 

 

                                     Ход урока.

 

1. Организационный момент.

 

T: Good morning, kids! I’m glad to see you. The topic of our lesson today is “Our

    School Life”.

    What do you think we are going to do at the lesson?

    P1, P2, P3…

T: All of you are right. But we will also watch a film about a British school.

   So, let’s get started.

 

2. Активизация  и фонетическая отработка  лексики по теме. (Работа с интерактивной доской.) См. презентацию.                                                       

 

T.: Let’s see how well you know topical vocabulary!

 

           Ex. 1 Match the names of the places with their definitions

3. Проверка домашнего задания ( монологическое высказывание по теме “My school”)

  в форме презентации проекта «Виртуальная экскурсия по школе» - “ A  trip about our school”.

 

T: What do you associate school with? What ideas have you got when you think of school?

     As for me, I associate school with my pupils.

P1, 2 …: I think of my class …

T.: What can you tell your foreign friends about our lyceum? Let’s make a virtual excursion about our school.

Ученики комментируют слайды ( 3- 7 предложений монологического высказывания).

Слайд 1-  My school.

 I study at lyceum number 2. It is large and light. It has 3 floors. My school  is about  95 years old. 

 One  thousand (1000) pupils study in my lyceum. We all like our school very much, because  it is comfortable and very well equipped. I think it is the best school in the world.                  

  СЛАЙД 2 -   Our class.

There are ... pupils in my class:  ...boys  and  ...  girls. All my classmates are friendly and

kind. They are my friends. We work hard at school and try to get good marks. We spend a lot of time  together: ...  ...

СЛАЙД 3 Primary  school  was …( nice , interesting)

In primary school  I learnt…

    СЛАЙД 4          Our school day.

 Our school day starts at 8.15. We usually have 4 or 5 lessons a day. We study a lot of subjects: Russian language, Russian Literature, ..., ...,..........It is our Literature classroom and  our teacher... . At Literature lessons we usually …   …  …  .

 

  СЛАЙД 5  Our classrooms.

There are many classrooms in our school. They are well equipped. At the English lessons  we usually listen to a tape recorder, read and translate texts, write dictations, act dialogues, sing songs....We enjoy studying English.

 

СЛАЙД 6   My favourite lesson.

Physical Education is my favourite subject. We do  PE in the gym( gymnasium) or  in  the  school  stadium. We usually run, jump, ... As for me,  I like to play ...

 

СЛАЙД 7   Information Technology is my favourite lesson at school.

We learn how to use computers.I enjoy working on the computer. Sometimes we play

computer games.

 

  СЛАЙД 8                                  Break time.

 

We like break time very much because we can go and have lunch in our canteen. We can eat delicious food there :  meatballs, buns, puddings... . As for me, I like ...

 

СЛАЙД 9                          Library.

 

It is our library. It is big and light. We can read  and take books there. As for me I like to read ....

 

      СЛАЙД 10                     Math classroom

 

It is our Math classroom. We usually …I like Math because …  ….

 

 

        СЛАЙД 11              Music classroom

It is our Music classroom. At Music we usually …, listen to a tape recorder. Our teacher  .. . plays the piano…..

T: Thank you. I see you can tell a lot of interesting things about our school and your school life.   All of you like PE classes. Let's check how sporty you are. Stand up. Come here! Listen to my commands and do them. Be sporty and active you'll be strong and healthy.

 

4. Просмотр фильма. Выполнение задания.

 

T.: By the way, I’ve got a friend Jamie who lives in England. He has sent you a short film about his school. Would you like to watch it?

Well. But there will be some unknown words in it. Look at the board.

 

 Match the words with their definitions.

5. Драматизация диалогов по теме «Школьная жизнь».

 

 Т.    Let’s make Ex 3.  Read and act out the dialogues. Who’s the first to start? Who is talking? Where are they? At school? On the way to school? At the playground?

 

- Hi Jamie!                      

- Hi Chidi!

- What’s the time?

- It’s 8.30

- Thanks, Jamie. See you at school.Bye.

-           

-          Can I play?

-          Angharad, we’re going to play it.

-          Of course!

-          That’s the end of break. It’s 10.45.

-           

    T.:    Imagine two Russian pupils are meeting on the way to school. What are they talking about?  Make up a dialogue.

       

-       Hello!

-       Hi! How are you?

-       Fine! Thanks. And you?

-       I’m fine. Thank you! Have you got a lot of lessons today?

-       … lessons/. And what about you?

-       We have got … lessons.

-       See you.

-       Bye!

    .- Hi! Nice to meet you!

-       Hi! Nice to meet you too. Why do you look so sad? What’s wrong?

-       We are going to write a dictation at Russian .

-       Don’t think about difficulties. Think about pleasant things.

 

 

6. Обучение написанию письма личного характера.

 

T.: It’s high time for you to learn how to write a letter. Here is a letter of a Russian boy studying in Jamie’s school. Read it and fill in the gaps.

Dear Mom and Dad,

    I’m in Britain now. We study in ____________school. It’s fantastic!

Don’t worry of my safety.   ________________helps us cross the street.
