  Our main aim is the protection. Our environment must be clean. We have to control atmospheric and water pollution, to study the man’s influence on the climate. The pollution of the environment influences the life of animals, plants and our human life.

  People use 2.5 million plastic every year. These bottles can’t be recycled and won’t ever degrade.

« What Can We Do to Save the Earth?»

Тема урока: «Что мы можем сделать, чтобы спасти Землю?»

Цели урока:

Образовательные:

·                тренировка лексико-грамматических навыков;

·                совершенствование коммуникативных навыков;

·                совершенствование техники чтения.

Развивающие:

·                развить логическое мышление и внимание учащихся;

·                развить умение вести дискуссию, обобщить и анализировать мнения других.

Воспитательные:

·                воспитывать бережное отношение к окружающей среде.

Оборудование:

·                интерактивная доска, компьютер, проектор;

·                презентация по теме урока;

·                презентация "Save the Earth";

·                карточки с заданием;

·                записи на доске.

Ход урока:

-         Good afternoon, dear students! How are you?

-         I am glad to see you. Sit down, please. Let’s begin our lesson.

-         Today at the lesson we will discuss what we can do to save the Earth. That's why we need to learn some more new words.

Фонетическая разминка.

-Let's revise the words . Begin with their pronunciation. Open Ex.39 p.50.

Look at the blackboard. Read the words in transcription and translate.

Речевая разминка.

-         What do you think people can do to save the Earth? Read the poem written by a British girl Mirriam Mackly. Say if you agree or disagree with her. Explain why. Open your books at p.53,ex.50.

Проверка домашнего задания.

-         Write down at least 5 things you can do to reduce throwing away rubbish. Read the sentences aloud one by one.

-  У вас у каждого на столе есть карточка со стихотворением. Ваша задача  вставить слова в пропуски, чтобы получилась рифма:

environment, pollution, protect, prohibit, rubbish (2), bin.

В мире множество проблем

Их нужно знать всем, всем

Введение новой лексики.

-         Learn new words to speak about the environmental problems. You can find them in ex.51,p.53. Work on pronunciation. Repeat after me, please:

-         Translate the phrases in chain. Make up your sentences in Russian words. Pronounce your sentences in Russian. Other pupils will translate into English.(Произнисите предложения на Русском. Другие ученики будут переводить ваше предложение на русский язык)

-         Give advice to your friends. Use the word "avoid". See ex.52 on p.53. Choose one of the tasks under the letters A,B or C. Read the example. Think a little. (Дайте совет своим друзьям)

А. When they are going to have a picnic;

B. When they are going to ride bicycles in a city/ or in the country;

C. When they are going to travel round the world;

-         Now give your advice one by one without a stop. If  you stop you are out of the game.

Обучение чтению.

-         Look at the photos on p.54. What are they doing?

-         Do you think it can help to protect the Earth?

-         Have you ever planted trees or rode a bike to go far away recykled litter?

-         Let’s see what else we can do to save the Earth. Read the text in ex.53, p.54 and give a little to it.

-         Read what you can do to save the Earth alive.Do you already do it? What exactly do you do?

-         Read the task to ex.54, p.54. Do you understand it? Then work in pairs and put the senteces in a proper place.( работа в парах)

-         And now listen to the whole text andcheck your answers. Read the whole text.

-         So, make a conclusion. Name the 3 most important and 3 least important points for saving the Earth. What do you think?

-         Let's see the presentation "Save the Earth"
