по английскому языку

для старшеклассников

Цели: обобщить, углубить и расширить лингвострановедческие знания по теме «Англо-говорящие страны»,

совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком по заданной теме,

способствовать формированию социокультурной компетенции учащихся,

повысить интерес к изучению английского языка.


Оснащение: интерактивная доска, проектор, ноутбук, цифровое поле с числами от 1 до 62, карты англо - говорящих стран.


(В викторине могут принимать участие 2 и более команд. На обдумывание вопросов даётся не более 1 минуты. За правильный ответ – 2 балла. Номер вопроса выбирают на цифровом поле. Можно использовать 2 музыкальные паузы.)

Today we shall have an unusual lesson. It will be the completion between two eleventh forms “A” and “B”. We shall travel across the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. You know that “Knowledge is Power” (these words are on the blackboard) and I’ll hope you show us your knowledge of geography, history, culture of English speaking countries.

There are 60 questions in the quiz. Each team will choose the number of the question from the table with numerals and will be given a minute, if they need, to answer the question. There are 2 musical pauses.
