Цель:
1. Способствовать систематизации и
обобщению пройденного материала по теме «British Housing»;
2. Способствовать формированию целостного представления
о жизни в Великобритании.
Задачи занятия:
Образовательная:
1. Научить применять изученный лексический
материал в речи на уровне надфразового единства, используя полученные знания о
культуре страны изучаемого языка;
2. Совершенствовать навыки поискового и
изучающего чтения; монологической речи.
Развивающая:
1. Способствовать развитию компенсаторных
умений (использование языковую и контекстуальную догадку при чтении,
игнорировать лексические трудности, использовать словарные замены в процессе общения).
Воспитательная:
1. Способствовать формированию у
обучающихся проявления понимания и уважения к культурным и историческим
ценностям других народов; культурной непредвзятости, толерантности.

Today we continue talking about British housing, types
of dwelling which exist in Great Britain and also we’ll learn the British
attitude to different types of houses, and the dream house they all would like
to live in.

Let’s revise what we’ve already learned about types of
housing in Great Britain. What kinds of houses can we enumerate? (detached,
semi-detached, flats, cottages) What are the main differences between them?
These are the important words from the text. Let’s
read them and let’s try to explain their meaning or to find synonyms to them.
