(The market. There are a lot of stalls, a lot of people and the music sounds. Hasan goes and suddenly meets the tailor.)
Tailor: Hello, Hasan!
Hasan: Hello! There is a big holiday tomorrow. Give me a blouse for my wife, a scarf for my mum and ribbons for my daughter.
Tailor: Here you are. But look at your trousers, all patches and holes. You need something new.

Scene 9
(Early morning. Hasan puts on his trousers)
Hasan: How can it be? I can’t wear these.
(women come in and begin to laugh)

(They take the pieces from the table and pretend to be sewing them.
Then Hasan puts the trousers on.)
