My life circles
Speaking about my life circles I want to begin with a story about an important
person for me when I was growing up. It was my mother. She was a very wise
woman, whose advice always helped me when I was a child. She influenced my
interests greatly. Thanks to her I like reading, visiting museums, going to the
theatres. She liked music and knew classical one very well. She tried to take
us to ballets and operas and I remember our first visit to the Bolshoi Theatre.
I was impressed so much that from that time Russian operas have always been my
favourites.
Another person who influenced my life was my teacher of English Yuri Glasov.
He
entered our classroom and we fell in love with him at once. For us he was a
real English gentleman, dressed in a perfect suit with a matching tie. He was
polite, patient. Our teacher knew so much about the life in England
and in America which was so different from our life at that time. He taught me
to love English grammar but he didn’t pay any attention for reading and
pronunciation that’s why I have always had some problems with reading new
words. As I understood it later, he didn’t like to work with bad students and a
lot of time he spoke about different things in Russian. Remembering his lessons
I know what I should do at the lessons and what I shouldn’t.
In the end I want to say some word about an important birthday. Of course, it’s
a birthday of my son. Sergey was born on the 7th of November in 1988
and from the very day of his birth he has been a person I live for. I’m proud
of my son. He graduated from the university with a “red” diploma. He likes and
knows English and he’s my great helper nowadays. We spend a lot of time
together and we share our love for travelling. He always prepares our trips
beforehand and all our trips are very successful.
