Учебно-практическая - активизация и закрепление лексики по теме «Поговорим о Казахстане», развитие умений и навыков устной речи, развитие навыков понимания иностранной речи на слух, навыков чтения и письменной речи;
Познавательная - формирование и развитие социокультурной компетенции учащихся, повышение общей культуры общения, создание положительной мотивации к изучению иностранного языка;
Воспитательная - воспитаниепатриотическихчувств к своей Родине,

What we are going to speak about? Have you got any ideas? … Yes, you are right. We are going to have a talk about Kazakhstan. So the topic is “Speaking about Kazakhstan”. (slide1) Our task is to revise the material of Unit 1 talking about our native country. (slide 2)
Today we shall speak about our country, our Motherland. Kazakhstan has always been a country of rich culture and beautiful places. As you know we celebrated the Independence Day of Kazakhstan. On the 16-th of December 1991 a Declaration about the Independence of Kazakhstan was adopted. Now our country has its own flag, anthem and the state emblem. The President of the country is NursultanAbishuluNazarbaev.

The Republic of Kazakhstan is a presidential democracy. It lies between Europe and Asia and stretches from the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea to the Altai mountainous and from the foothills of the Tien Shan in the south and southeast to the West Siberian lowlands in the north. Kazakhstan is the 9th largest country in the world, after Russia, Canada, China, USA, Brazil, Australia, India and Argentina.
In the east, north and northwest, Kazakhstan borders with Russia. In the south I t borders with the states of Central Asia: Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. In the southeast it borders with China. The total extent of Kazakhstan’s borders is nearly 12,200km, including 600 kilometers along the Caspian Sea in the west.
There are many rivers and vast reservoirs in Kazakhstan. The largest rivers of Kazakhstan are the Irtysh, Ishim, Ural, Syrdarya, Ili, Chu, Tobol, and Nura. There are nearly 7 thousand natural lakes in the country. Among them is Balkhash Lake in the sands of Central Kazakhstan, Zaisan Lake in the east, Alakol Lake in the southeast, and Tengiz Lake in the center of Kazakhstan.
The highest peak in the country is Khan Tengri at 7,013m above sea level. Crossing the territory of Kazakhstan from north to south you will see many different climate zones, with all various areas having their own flora and fauna

The center of Uralsk almost preserved its historical outlook. The oldest building in the city - Mikhailo-Archangelsky church built in 1740s is a witness of all the historical events happened in the town. Not far from the church there is Pugachov museum.
Another preserved church located in the center of Uralsk is the Church of Christ the Savior. It was built in commemoration of the 300th anniversary of Ural Cossack army serving Moscow Tsar, this date was celebrated in 1891. Unfortunately most part of other churches of Uralsk were exploded and destroyed in the 30s of 20th century.
One of the oldest and respected buildings in Uralsk - the residence of the ataman (Cossack chieftain) built in 1825. Its facade is decorated my memorial boards saying that it is the house where Pushkin, Zhukovsky, Dal’, Tolstoy stayed when they visited Uralsk.
Uralsk regional historical museum is located in the building of Russian-Kirghiz (before Revolution Kazakhs were called Kirghiz in official documents) school built in 1880s.
One of the most famous buildings in Uralsk is merchant A.T.Karev’s house built at the edge of 19-20 centuries, for a long time it has been the largest building in the city.
Another preserved historical place in Uralsk - the city recreation park, the oldest in Kazakhstan, it was founded in 1840.
