What color  is the flag?   The next picture is  the British Сoat of Arms Look at the interactive board You see The British flag and coats of arms. The British flag is called “Union Jack”. And it is the British Coat of Arms. What can you see in the coat of arms? How do you think why we say about Great Britain’s symbols? What is the theme of the lesson today? And what is the aim of the lesson?			They guess the picture and answer the questions -         Flag. 3. Introducing the theme and the aims of the lesson	1min.	Yes, we’ll talk about Great Britain and its government.  Our theme of the lesson is “Government”. The aims of the lesson are:  to introduce with the information about  GB and  its government,  to read and speak about it.

Students should choose one   card  with one of the emblems of Great Britain and divide the class into three groups. Rose –the emblem of England. Thistle – Scotland Daffodil – Wales. While –reading. Listen to the tasks. For these task I’ll take the method of  “Think – Work in pairs – Share” The 1st  task each pupil should read the text  ex.3 p.66 The 2nd task work in pairs. The level task: A level: True or false B level: Finish the  sentences Ex. 5 p. 66 Write in your copybook C level: Read the definitions  and find the words in the text. Make your own sentences. Post –reading The 3rd task: Work in group  “Share”   (when the students  do their tasks I will check and help   them  I’ll assess )			Listen and repeat Each pupil takes one symbol of parts of Great Britain (rose, thistle, daffodil) They should select a captain, a timer, a secretary of their group.
