Тема урока: "The United Kingdom of Great Britain"

Форма проведения: урок-конкурс

Цели и задачи мероприятия:

·                     Закрепление страноведческих знаний, расширение кругозора.

·                     Развитие интеллекта, познавательного интереса, творческой деятельности, умения работать в группах.

·                     Развитие мышления, памяти, внимания.

Воспитание уважительного отношения к культуре другой страны

4.	2 конкурс «Страны СК» 16 баллов	Команды заполняют таблицу. Зачитывают капитаны.	4 мин.
5.	3 конкурс : Составь предложение. 5 баллов	Из предложенных слов команды составляют предложения. Ответы зачитываются.	4 мин.
6.	4 конкурс: Докончи предложения. 4 балла	Команды выбирают из предложенных вариантов.	4 мин.
7	5 конкурс «Выбери предлоги» 5 баллов	Команды вставляют в пропуски правильные предлоги.	4 мин.
8	6 конкурс: «Достопримечательности» Визуальный диктант 7 баллов	Студенты называют достопримечательности Лондона на картинках на русском, затем пишут их на английском.	4 мин.
9	7 конкурс «Рождественские символы» 20 баллов	Студенты  называют символы Рождества на картинках.	4 мин.

Ход урока-

1.                      Организационный момент. Речевая разминка.

- Good morning, students! Take your seats, please. In order to start our lesson first I want you to divide into 2  teams.  

 Dear guests!Welcome to our game “The UK of Great Britain”! Let me introduce the teams and their captains: … I wish you all good luck! Let us start our game. We   begin   our   lesson   with  presentation about the UK. The first will be the “Angels’ capitain.

I конкурс “Brainstorm”.

Вопросы задаются командам по очереди.

II конкурс «Countries of the UK».

Каждой команде раздается таблица и конверт с карточками столиц и символами стран. Ребятам необходимо заполнить таблицу на скорость.

III конкурс “Make a Sentence”.  Командам даются карточки со словами. Нужно составить из данных слов  предложения.
