понадобятся только количественные числительные. Общее правило
такое: год читают по две цифры вместе, например, 1860 будет
- eighteen sixty.
При появлении нуля в дате, возникают
исключения. Так, 1900 как читать на английском?
По-другому, это девятнадцать сотен, так и читаем nineteen hundred.
Как читать 2000 год на английском? Иначе, это две тысячи,
так и на английском скажем two thousand.
Как читать 2001 год
на английском? Two thousand one. 2007 - two
thousand seven.
Но, если ноль всего один, возможны
варианты чтения, например, 1901 как читать по
английски? Либо nineteen one, либо nineteen o (читается как [ou]) one,
либо nineteen
hundred one.
А как читать 2010 год
на английском? Здесь можно вернуться к привычному правилу читать по две цифры
за раз: twenty ten, 2013 - twenty thirteen, 2014
- twenty fourteen. Либо прочитать 2010 как two thousand
ten, 2013 - two thousand thirteen, 2014 - two thousand fourteen.
Еще в британском варианте английского
после hundred и thousand, а так же между чисел, называемых по две,
принято добавлять and, например, 2017 - two
thousand and seventeen, 1955 nineteen and fifty
five.
