Тема урока: Famous people
Урок систематизация и обобщение знаний и умений с
применением элементов проектной технологии
Цель урока: Обобщение и систематизация знаний и
практических умений и навыков учащихся по теме «Биография».
Задачи урока:
образовательные:
- расширить общий кругозор
учащихся, познакомить с некоторыми
известными людьми англоязычных
стран, России и Республики
Марий Эл;
- обеспечить практическое
использование лексических единиц по
теме «Биография»;
развивающие:
- способствовать формированию
самостоятельности и творческого
подхода при выполнении учебных
задач;
- развивать внимание и память
учащихся;
воспитательные:
- содействовать воспитанию
уважительного отношения к людям;
- способствовать развитию
патриотических чувств и чувства
гордости за людей, достигших
больших высот в жизни.
Ход урока:
I. Организационный
этап.
а) Приветствие.
T: Good morning, good morning,
Good morning to you.
Good morning, dear children,
I am glad to see you.
Pp: Good morning, good morning,

Good morning, dear teacher,
We are glad to see you.
II. Постановка цели и задач урока. Мотивация
учебной деятельности учащихся.
T: You look very well today. I think you feel well too. Be
attentive and very active.
Let’s start our lesson. The topic of our lesson is
“Famous people”.
What do you think? What are we going to speak about?
P: We are going to speak about famous people.
T: You are right. We are going to speak about famous Russian,
English, American
and Mari people.

T: Let’s work with the word “famous”.
What words do you associate with the word “famous”?
P: a famous actor (writer, ballet-dancer, pop-singer,
politician, sportsman, etc.)
T: And now, give me the synonym to the word “famous”
P: well-known
T: Look at the screen. You see some woods. We’ll use these
words at the lesson. But you should pronounce them correctly. Listen to me and
repeat after me.

T: We need these words at the lesson. Now, I’ll show you the
photos of some famous people. Look at them and say:

What sphere of life is she/he famous in?

P: He is Alexander Pushkin, a famous Russian poet.
He is Yuri Gagarin, the first spaceman.
He is Evgeniy Plyushenko , a famous sportsman. Etc.
T: Well done. Tell me, please, are you proud of them?
P: Yes, we are proud of them.
T: Not only you and I, all Russian people are proud of them.
They are well-known not only in Russia. They are well-known all over the world.
IV. Обобщение и систематизация знаний.

а) Развитие навыков аудирования .
T: American people are proud of well-known people of their
country. We’ll listen to the text about a famous American woman. Her name is
Jane Fonda.
T: You have got sheets of paper.
Take them and read the task.

T: At first let’s work with the new words.
(Учитель читает новые слова, учащиеся повторяют
за ним.

T: Every country has outstanding people. The UK
is not an exception. Englishmen are proud of well-known people of their
country.
What famous English people do you know?
P: William Shakespeare, Daniel Defoe, Agatha Christie, etc.
T: Well done. We spoke about them at the previous lessons.
Now, we are going to read the text about William
Shakespeare.
Open your workbooks on page 43 exercise 4.

T: You can talk about famous people, about their life and
occupation. I want you to talk about some of them. Your home task was to make
up a short dialogue about a famous person but not to give his or her name. Your
classmates should guess them.

- She is very popular like her mother. She has a lot of
hits and she dances very
well.

But I like the clip where she sings with her mother. Her mother is a famous
pop-singer Alla Pugachyova.

But we couldn’t get tickets to her concert.
T: Who have the girls talked about?
T: Thank you, boys and girls. Your
dialogues were interesting. We’ll listen to the dialogues of other students at
the next lesson.
V. Применение знаний и умений к новой
ситуации.
а) Формирование навыков
монологической речи по теме «Известные люди».
T: We do a project about outstanding
people in our Republic of Mari El. Now, I want you to listen to the material
about a famous mari man. Our Republic of Mari El has many outstanding people.
One of them is Yivan Kyrla. Your classmates will tell you about this person.

P: Kirill Ivanovich Ivanov is a mari
poet and actor. His nickname is Yivan Kyrla. Kirill Ivanovich Ivanov was born
in 1909 in the village of Kupsola Sernursky district. You see the house where
he lived when he studied at school.
P: Kirill lived in the village. The
family was poor. Young Kirill had to work a lot not to be hungry. He liked to
study at school and learn everything new. Kirill was a cheerful and clever boy.
He has a good sense of humor. His friends liked him very much.
P: In 1926 Kirill went to Kazan
with the group of young mari people who wanted to become actors. He studied
there well. When Kirill studied at Moscow State Institute of Cinema he was
invited to take part in the group scenes in the film “The road to life”( In
Russian it is «Путёвка в жизнь»). You see the scenes from the film.
P: “The road to life” was the first
sound film. It was about homeless Teenagers. Yivan Kyrla played the part of
Mustafa Fert. He was the leader of homeless teenagers. The film shows how
homeless teenagers come to a new wise life. In Yoshkar-Ola there is a monument
to a mari poet and actor Yivan Kyrla. There is a street named after Yivan Kyrla.

T: Dear boys and girls, thank you for
the material about the famous mari poet and actor Yivan Kyrla. It is very
interesting. At the next lesson we’ll listen to other groups. Bring all the
material that you have got. I think the material that they have will be
interesting to you.
