I. Warming up. a)
Look at the pictures and guess what we are going to speak about.
b) Look at the
picture, find the first four words you see and introduce yourselves using the
found words.
II. «A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch
breaking because its trust is not on the branch but on its own wings. Always
believe in yourself. » Do you believe in yourself? Comment on the proverb.
Choose: I believe in myself. I’m reliable. I’m responsible. I’m
helpful. I help my parents and friends. I have a lot of friends. I learn well.
I do my homework. I work hard. I can run /cook /dance well. I study hard. I
read a lot. I\m never late for my classes.
III. Read Happy Recipe; make your own Happy Recipe.
A modern “happy recipe” includes: 4 cups of love, 2 cups of loyalty, 3 cups of forgiveness, 1 cup of friendship, 5 spoons of hope, 2 spoons of tenderness, 4 quarts of faith,1 barrel of laughter.
Take love and loyalty, mix with faith.
Blend it with tenderness, kindness, and understanding.
Add friendship and hope, sprinkle abundantly with laughter.
Bake it with sunshine.
Serve daily with
generous helpings.
IV. The best doctors are: Dr. Diet,
Dr. Quiet and Dr. Merryman.
What
are your best doctors? Why?
V. If you want to
feel rich, just count the things you have that money can’t buy. (Proverb) How
rich are you? Name the things you have. (I think I’m rich. I have air,
water, friends, parents, knowledge, good health, the ability to dance. I don’t
have to work.)
VI. Mistakes are like
punctuation marks of life, without which the text does not make sense. What
mistakes do you usually make? Can you describe some unusual one?
I
don’t always tell the truth. I’m lazy. I don’t always keep my promises, etc.

X. Imagine that life
- is a game built on juggling a few balls. Choose a few balls your life is
built on, give them names and say what they are made from. Glue them on a piece
of paper and show to the class.
