Тип урока: урок комплексного применения знаний, умений и навыков

Цели урока:

Образовательные: отработка фонетических навыков, закрепление грамматической конструкции Past Simple, проведение практики в речевой деятельности: аудировании, диалогической речи.

Развивающие: развить у учащихся память, мышление, воображение, а также навыки чтения, говорения, грамматические навыки.

Воспитательные: воспитывать у учащихся чувство коллективизма, получая удовольствие и радость, развить языковое чутье.


Ход урока

I. Организационный момент



- Good morning, children! (Good morning, teacher!)

- Please sit down. I’m glad to see you again! How are you, ? (I’m …, thank you. And you?)

- I’m fine, thanks.

- Great! You are in a great mood today. Well, let’s look at the board and tell me, what date is it today? (It’s the 28th of September)

- What day of the week is it today? (It’s Wednesday)

- Look through the window and say, what is the weather like today? (It’s sunny, cloudy…)

- Well done, thank you!



II. Фонетическая зарядка. Целеполагание



- Look at the slide, please (slide 2). Today we are going to visit a town. It's a very beautiful town. I want to travel with you to this town. But the way there won’t be easy. You should do some tasks.

- Look! There are the names of the streets. Listen and repeat:

Yesterday / The day before yesterday / Last week / Last month / Last year / Two days ago / Once

- What do these words mean?

- Give the Town a name.

- Great, it’s the Past Simple Town.

- Today we have a game lesson “Let’s Travel to Grammar Land”.

How do you think, what are we going to do in Grammar Land? (We are going to speak English…)

- Dear friends! It’s the competition. Two teams will take part in our game. The captain of the 1st team is Egor, the captain of the 2nd team is Kamila. For every right answer you will receive a star. Team with the most stars win. I wish you good luck and I hope you’ll know much more about English Grammar. Let’s begin our journey.



III. Основной этап урока. Активизация изученного материала.



Закрепление грамматических навыков:

- Tell me please, when we use the Past Simple tense? (slide 2)

- Do you know English verbs? What groups of verbs do you now? What is an irregular verb? What is a regular verb? Yes, you are right. (slides 3-4)

- Ok, let’s check up how do you now the Past Simple of irregular verbs. It’s the captain battle. Take one of the cards and tell the second form of the verb.

- And now it’s time to check your teams, dear captains. Do the crossword puzzle. Find the Past Simple of the irregular verbs from the box. (приложение 2)

- Make up sentences with these verbs (*team battle)

- Choose the right forms of the verbs

- p. 34 ex. 1 (CD15) Listen and match the two parts of the sentences

- Make up dialogues. Let’s imagine you went abroad for your weekend. Speak about it. Follow the plan. (slide 5)



IV. Подведение итогов. Рефлексия. Инструктаж по выполнению домашнего задания.



- All of you tried to do your best. Let’s count your stars.

- So, the second team was more successful. It has got more stars than other one. Thank you for your work!

- There are the postcards on your desks. It’ll be your homework. You have two tasks. First of all you should write the verbs in brackets in right form. And the second task - write back to Sally, write you own postcard. Is it clear?

- We have reached the aim of our lesson. I hope you liked this lesson. There are red, green and yellow cards on your desks. If you like the lesson, show me the green card, please. If you don’t like it, show me the red one. If the lesson was sad for you, show me the yellow card.
