Цель урока: Развитие навыков коммуникативной компетенции у учащихся.
Задачи: 1. Создать условия для развития речевых умений в рамках заданной темы.
2. Организовать прослушивание учащимися текста с целью понимания общей идеи высказываний говорящих, а затем полного понимания для использования информации в выражении своего мнения в объеме нескольких предложений.
3. Создать условия для развития навыков чтения с целью полного понимания содержания и дальнейшего использования полученной информации в речи.

Do relations with your classmates influence your mood?
P: Yes, they do.
Recently we have spoken a lot about your favourite pastimes. You shared interesting facts about your leisure. I was impressed. But any pastime is boring or even impossible without friends. Look at these happy faces at page 137.Would you like to be one of them? Do you have an experience of having a good friend or being a good friend? How do you choose friends? Could you give advice to a person whose friend let him down? I am sure you have much to share. Let us start working.
At the end of the lesson you should finish this sentence: A perfect friend is …
In all times people spoke about friendship. There are a lot of quotations who a true or the best friend is. Have a look at the screen/ Which quotation makes the most sense to you? Why?
Pupils are choosing a quotation written on the screen and are giving their understanding.
How do you choose your friends: by appearance, by age …?
P1: I choose my friend by interests.
Thank you for your answers. Now listen to people speaking about their friends. Match what they say to the following statements at page 138 ex.55
After the first listening pupils do the exercise.
Now form 3 groups(1,2,3 row)/ Listen to the recording once again and discuss in your group whom you would choose as a friend
Pupils listen, then discuss their choices in groups.
4.Writing and speaking
All of us have great expectations from our friends. But are you a good friend? Let us write a friendship recipe .Work with your neighbour write how to be a good friend. You can consult ex.52
Now you can exchange your recipes with other pairs, choose one you like most and explain your choice
Pupils are writing a recipe in pairs.
Pupils exchange recipes then speak on one they liked.
5.Reading and speaking
But unfortunately sometimes friends let us down . Has your friend ever betrayed you? What did you feel?
You know there are some centres where you can get support /Imagine you came to such a centre and have a chance to ask your questions to psychologists. Who wants to get advice?(The teacher chooses 5 pupils).Prepare your questions. Others will be psychologists. Open these books (“Laser” by Malkolm Mann) at page 12 ,read the text to be qualified to consult teenagers.
