Урок-коммуникация по теме “ Books in my life” в 7 б классе

Цели:

Обучающие.

1. Обобщить знания учащихся по теме: «Жанры книг, книга в моей жизни»

2. Обеспечить отработку лексических единиц по данной теме в серии языковых  и речевых упражнений.

3. Обучить применению полученных знаний в коммуникативных ситуациях и в различных видах речевой деятельности.

Развивающие.

  1. Развитие умений найти требуемую информацию в воспринимаемом на слух тексте.

  2. Развитие языковых, интеллектуальных, творческих способностей учащихся.

  3. Расширение кругозора учащихся.

  4. Развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся.

Воспитывающие.

  1. Воспитание уважения к культуре другой страны.

  2. Формировать культуру чтения, интерес и любовь учащихся к литературе.


Оборудование: мультимедийная презентация, карточки к аудированию, проигрыватель, вывеска магазина, листки на «книжное дерево»



Ход урока.


1. Teacher: Hello dear boys, girls and guests. I’m glad to see you. Now let’s smile to each other and say “Hello” I wish you to be active, creative and don’t forget to smile to each other.

Today we are going to speak about one of the most wonderful things in the world.

Well, try to guess what is it. слайд 1 “It has no mouth but it speaks. It is not alive, but it can be a good friend. It is not a tree, but it has leaves. What is it?” That’s right. It’s a book.

Today we’ll talk about books. The theme of our lesson is “Books in our life” слайд 2

Ученик рассказывает стихотворение

Books can teach and excite,

Books can comfort and thrill,

Books can show you the world

And will make you feel.

Funny books make me laugh,

Romances make me cry,

Adventure books make me happy

I don t know why.

Teacher:- Who knows why books make us happy?

Teacher: Life without books looks as poor and unhappy as a tree without leaves. Now let us grow our own “book-tree”. Please, try to guess the genre and stick it on the tree.

На доске нарисовано дерево, ребята сначала угадывают жанр, а потом выбирают из разных слов листочек с этим жанром и наклеивают их на дерево по очереди магнитами

Science fiction is a book about actual or imagined scientific things or events.

A historical book is a book with an old story about  great events and people in ancient times, which may not be true.

A fairy-tale is a story  that teaches a lesson, a story in which animals or objects can speak.

A horror is a story in which frightening and often unnatural things happen.

A detective is a book that tells a very exciting story especially of crime and violence.

Biography is a book about another person’s life.

Autobiography is a book  about your life.

Travel story is a guide book or book of visits to foreign countries

Adventure story is a book which contains exciting adventures

Romance is a book about relationship and romantic love between two people

Teacher: And now we’ll find out how well do you know famous writers and their works. .You’ll try to match the names of Russian and English-speaking writers and the kinds of books they wrote. ( проводит ученица)слайд 7

История создания первых книг.

We can’t imagine our life without books and reading. Beginning from our childhood we are surrounded by a lot of books. But who was this man who invented printing? Do you know his name?

I should say that he was a genius. His name will be famous in ages. It was Johann Gutenberg who printed the so-called Gutenberg Bible in 1456.

The first printed English book was “Sayings of the Philosophers”. It was printed in 1477.

The Russian pioneer of printing was Ivan Fyodorov. He issued the first Russian printed book “Apostle” in 1564.

Teacher: Have you ever been to the bookshop? Let’s visit it, Ann will be a shop assistant.

Ученики выкладывают свои книги на первую парту и мы инсценируем диалоги « В книжном магазине» слайд 13

- Yes, please, I want a book as a birthday present for my cousin.

-  What books does she prefer?

-  She prefers love stories.

-  What about this one? It is an interesting love story.

- Yes, please. I want to buy a book.

- What genre do you prefer to read?

- I like detective stories. Have you got something interesting and new for me?

- Of course we have. Look at this book please. I think it is all you want.

-  Oh, I think I will take it. How much is it?

- 3 pounds.

Teacher: Reading books is useful and interesting. I hope that you understand that without books our life will be empty and boring. Read good books, enjoy them and think.

  1. An English writer who was born in Ireland in 1667. His novel “The Gulliver’s Travel” is known all over the world (Jonathan Swift).

  2. An English writer, the master of detective stories. She was called “A Queen of Crime”. She wrote 78 crime novels. Her books have been translated into 103 languages. Her well-known character was Miss Marple. (Agatha Christie).

  3. A famous English children’s writer. His first book appeared in 1865. It was a fairy-tale about a small girl and her adventures in wonderful land (Lewis Caroll).

  4. An English writer, he was born in India where his stories and poems were set. One of books was called “The Jungle Book” where the main hero is Mowgli (Rudyard Kipling).

  5. He was the professor of Literature and English and became famous as the author of famous children’s books: “Hobbit” and “The Lord of Rings” (John Ronald Tolkien).

  6. The famous English novelist. He lived and worked in Scotland. He wrote adventures books: “Quentin Durward”, “Ivanhoe” and others (Walter Scott).

  7. An American writer, the master of short detective stories (Edgar Allan Poe).

  8. A British writer. He was born in Scotland and created a famous fictional character- the detective Sherlock Holmes (Sir Arthur Connan Doyle).

  9. This American writer is called the Father of American Literature. “All American literature comes from one of his books called “Huckelberry Finn” (Mark Twain).









Reading books is useful and interesting. Books help us to solve the problems of our life. We learn a lot of new facts about famous people, lands and countries from books. Books help us to make new friends. Books are useful because they learn us to plan our time and life. Reading books is a popular hobby of people of different ages. Books have beautiful pictures and photos.
