Tom’s daily routine

    

My every day activities are quite routine. On weekdays the alarm clock wakes me up and my working day begins. I usually get up at 7 o'clock. If it is spring or summer I jump out of bed, run to the window and open it wide to let the fresh morning air in. I do my physical exercises, wash, clean my teeth and comb my hair. Then I have breakfast. For breakfast I usually have toasted bread, bacon and eggs, tea or coffee and some jam. While I am having breakfast, I switch on the radio and listen to the news.


It takes me 10 minutes to get to school. School starts at 8 o’clock and I have lessons till 2 o’clock. I usually have six lessons a day. I return home at half past 2, take a short rest and I have lunch at 3.


After doing my homework I go for a walk with my friends. I often play chess with them. I am a member of a chess club. Sometimes we go to the cinema or the theatre but not very often. In summer I like to get out more, so in the evenings I go to the tennis court or take out my bike for a run in the country.


On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I go to the Music school. I leave home at 4 o’clock in the afternoon and come back at 6 o’clock in the evening.


My parents usually return home at 7 o'clock in the evening. We have dinner at 7.30. As usual dinner consists of soup, fish or roast chicken, potatoes, vegetables and dessert. After dinner we go to the sitting room. There we read books, newspapers and magazines, watch TV, chat with our friends on the phone.


At 10 p.m. I take a shower, brush my teeth and go to bed. I read for a while before I go to sleep. I fall asleep fast and have no dreams.

Задачи:

обучающие: закрепление лексики по теме «Распорядок дня»;

- формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений;

- создание ситуаций для употребления простого настоящего времени;


развивающие:

- развивать умения монологической и диалогической речи;

- развитие логического мышления, способности к обобщению;


воспитательные:

- формирование интереса к изучаемому языку;

- формирование умения работать в команде;

- воспитание взаимопомощи, сотрудничества при достижении общей цели;

- развитие навыков правильно организовывать свое время, соблюдать распорядок дня.


УУД

Личностные: формирование коммуникативной компетентности в общении и сотрудничестве со сверстниками; формирование готовности к саморазвитию и самообразованию;

Регулятивные: умение ставить цели, планировать свою работу;

Познавательные: постановка и решение проблемы;

Коммуникативные: умение задавать вопросы; использование речевых средств для решения различных коммуникативных задач; способность аргументировать собственное мнение при выработке общего решения в совместной деятельности.

Ход урока.

  1. Оргмомент.

Введение в языковую среду.

- Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you. How are you?

- I’m fine, thank you!

- How are you getting on?

- I’m OK! Thank you, and you?

Today is Tuesday, the 17-th of November. Is Tuesday a perfect day for you?

P1: - I like Tuesday because we have an English lesson today.

P2: - I like today’s day because it’s a sunny day. And what about you? Which is a perfect day for you?

P3. – As for me, I like Friday, because it is the last day of a week and I can spend a weekend with my family.


  1. Look at the board, you can see some pictures try to guess what the topic of our lesson is (слайды).

Мотивационноцелевой этап.

There are three variants:

  1. My school day.

  2. At the weekend.

  3. My daily routine.

- Why? How often do we do these actions? – Very often, usually, every day. What grammar tense do we use to describe them?

- Try to guess what we are going to do at our lesson today.

Развитие умений ознакомительного и поискового чтения.

6.1Toms daily routine” (Работа в группах)

Метод «Ажурная пила» - образовать 3 группы, их задача – разместить абзацы в правильном порядке, чтобы получился текст. Группа, которая справилась с заданием первая, читает текст, остальные проверяют.

Exchange your workbooks with your neighbour. Look at the board and check.
