I.        Organization moment.

Good afternoon dear pupils and teachers. I am glad to see you. Who is on duty today? What is the weather like today?

VIII.                    Phonetic drill

Yellow butter, purple jelly, red jam, brown bread

Spread it thick, say it quick

Now repeat it, while you eat it.

The theme of our lesson  is “Our favorite recipes”. Your home task was to make up the dialogue.

Pupil 1: Hello, Beibaris?

Pupil 2: Hi, Lunara. How are you?

Pupil 1: Not so bad. And you?

Pupil 2: I am OK, thanks. What is your favorite food?

Pupil 1: My favorite food is Pancake.

Pupil 2: What do we need?

Pupil 1: You need 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of water and one egg.

Pupil 2: How do you make t?

Pupil 1: Take 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of water and mix it. Beat the eggs and add them. Add the flour and mix well. It is really delicious. I do it myself.

Pupil 2: Mmmmmmm...

2.      Teacher: Reading the story '' Stone soup” and translate it.

One day a very hungry soldier came to an old woman's house. But the old man was very mean. She said she that hasn't got any food. Oh, said the soldier, that is a pity. I have got a magic stone, I can make a soup with it. But I need some water. Well, I've got a lot of water said the mean old woman, a magic stone, eh? She brought a big saucepan of water. The soldier put the stone in it. Then he tasted the soup. It is very good, he said. It just needs a bit of salt and pepper. The old woman brought some salt and pepper. After some time he said, it really needs a few of vegetables. It is a pity you haven't got any vegetables. The woman ran and brought some potatoes, carrots and beans and a big onion. The soldier put the vegetables into the saucepan. It is almost ready. It really needs a bit of meat. It is a pity you haven't got any meat. The woman ran into the kitchen and came back with some ham and some sausages. The soldier put them into the saucepan. Right, said the soldier. I can't see the stone any more. So the soup is ready. Bread is very good with stone soup. It is a pity you haven't got any bread. I've got a bit of bread, said the woman. She ran into the kitchen and come back with a loaf of bread, some butter and a piece of cake. The old woman tasted the soup. M-m-m. This soup is delicious and you made it with just  magic stone. Before leaving he said, here is the magic stone. You can keep it. But remember, for the best stone soup you need a bit of meat, a few vegetables and a bit of salt and pepper, too.

V.    Teacher: Now we shall deal with grammar. “Reflexive pronouns”.

Singular: myself, herself, himself, itself.

Plural: Ourselves, yourselves, themselves.

VI.  Teacher: Ex8. Ask and answer the questions in pairs.

1.      Do you iron your own clothes?

2.      Do you shop for food yourself?

3.      Do you decorate your flat yourselves?

4.      Do you clean your room yourself?

5.      Do you wash your clothes yourself?

6.      Does your father repair the things in the house himself?

7.      Do you wash your hair yourself?

VII. Teacher: Ex9. Complete the sentences using myself, yourself.

a. Don't pay for me. I'll pay for__________.

b. The old lady sat in a corner talking to___________.

c.The party was wonderful. We enjoyed _______________.

d. The little boy was lucky when he feel down the stairs. He didn't hurt__________

e. Be careful! The pan is hot. Don't burn ___________.

VIII.                                Now lets listen the play “At the cafe”.

Pupil 1: I am hungry

Pupil 2: I am thirsty.

Pupil 3: Lets go to the cafe.

Pupil 2: Where shall we sit?

Pupil 4: Lets sit over there near the window.

Pupil 4: Good afternoon.

Pupil 4,1,6,2: Good afternoon.

Pupil 5: Can I help you?

Pupil 4: Yes, could you show us the menu, please.

Pupil 5: Here it is.

Are you ready to order?

Pupil 3: We shall have chips, rolls and biscuits.

Pupil 5: What would you like to drink?

Pupil 6: We shall have a bottle of apple juice, please.

Pupil 5: Just a minute.

Here is the bill. That will be 50 tenge, please.

Pupil 1: Thank you.

Pupil 5: Not at all.

IX.  Teacher: Listen the dialogue between Ardak and Elsira.

Pupil 1: Excuse me!

Pupil 2: Yes?

Pupil 1: Could you answer some questions?

Pupil 2: Well...em...Ok.    

Pupil 1: What is your name?

Pupil 2: Ardak.

Pupil 1: OK, Talgat. What do you like to eat?

Pupil 2: I like fruit. I love bananas, oranges, apples and apricots.

Pupil 1: Do you like meat?

Pupil 2: Yes, I do. I also like fish and eggs and fried potatoes.

Pupil 1: What do you like to drink?

Pupil 2: I like Coke and orange juice and tea with milk and ...

Pupil 1: And what don't you like?

Pupil 2: I don't like surveys! Good bye!

Pupil 1: Mmm?

X.  Pupil 1: What is your favorite snack?

Pupil 2: Oh, it is a sandwich with peanut butter, honey, and a banana. It is really delicious.

Pupil 1: I have never heard about that! How do you make it?

Pupil 2: Well first you take two pieces of bread and spread peanut butter on them. Then cut up a banana into small slices and put them on the piece of bread. Then pour some honey over the bananas and put the other piece of bread on top.

XI.  Now, children, look at the blackboard, please. You can see a crossword, guess the words.

5. It helps us to grow up.

6. The ingredients of “plov”.

7. You can find it in “Snickers”.

XII. Now pupils do you know any proverbs?

Pupil 1: A sound mind in a sound body.

Pupil 4: Appetite comes with eating.

Не хочешь идти к врачу, ешь яблоко.

XII.                       Conclusion. Well pupils, today we learnt a lot. We learnt some new words and we spoke new recipes. I hope you liked today's lesson. Thank you for your activeness
