England is the origin of the English language and the Anglican Church, and English law forms the basis of the legal systems of many countries around the world; in addition, London was the center of the British Empire, and the country was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.
Elizabeth II is considered one of the most authoritative and influential women in the world. She comes from a dynasty Windsor, and today Queen Elizabeth II is the longest-reigning head of state in the history of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This is a respected person on the world stage, who has worked hard to achieve universal respect and recognition.
The queen's personality is extremely controversial and has been subject to both approval and harsh criticism over the long years of her reign. However, what Elizabeth does not occupy is humanity. Thanks to her help, thousands of people were saved from a variety of life situations. The case during the beginning of the Civil War in Yemen is indicative. The Queen, without a shadow of a doubt, ordered her yacht to change course in order to evacuate as many ordinary people as possible.
Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey are the three pillars of English tourism. In addition to these buildings in England, there are many museums, bridges, palaces, cathedrals and parks that offer tourists fascinating excursions.
Characteristic features of the English
The English are recognized as the most polite and well-mannered in the world, but together with respect for personal space (they do not ask tactless questions and do not poke their nose into other people's affairs), their politeness is often mistaken for coldness.
English food traditions
The English are unassuming and unpretentious in food, they can eat the same dish for breakfast for several days in a row. Popular dishes in the Foggy Albion were oatmeal, scrambled eggs with bacon (sausages, mushrooms or vegetables), toast with jam, fruit pie, milk pudding, meat, fish, potatoes and other vegetables. As for the national drink, it has always been tea for many years. Traditionally, every day, the British arrange 5 o'clock to drink a cup of strong and fragrant tea. This drink can be either with or without sugar, but always with milk or cream.
