Цели  урока:

                    - обучающие:

                      1)  систематизировать  материал  по  лексике  данной  темы; грамматике  (узнавать  грамматическую  структуру   Present Perfect в речи; знать структуру Past  Simple); страноведческий и

    краеведческий  материал;    

                       3) формировать  умение  использования  технических  средств (Smart – доска);

                       4) продолжить  формирование  восприятия  устной  речи  на  слух;

                       5) продолжить  формирование  навыка  диалогической  речи  в  режиме  диалог – расспрос.

1.    Формулирование  темы  урока. Начало  урока.

  Teacher:- Good  morning , dear  friends!Our  lesson  is  devoted  to

                       a tour round London.

                    - What  season  is  it  now ?

2. Фонетическая  зарядка (чтение).

Teacher: - Let’s  read  the  poem  about  winter :

    Teacher:     -Children, you know London  is  a

                        great  cultural  center.

                        Britain  is  now  one  of  the  world’s

                        major  theatre  centres. It  has 

                        about  300  professional  theatres.

                        The  most  famous  are:

                       -The  Royal  Shakespeare  Company

                       -Barbican  Centre

                       -The  Young  Vic  Company

                       -The  Royal  Opera  House  (Covent  Garden).

11.Песня «Hello,Good-bye!» (приложение 1).

   Teacher:    Вам  Шекспир  сказать  велел:

                    «All  is  well  when  the  end  is  well» -

                    Всё  хорошо, что  хорошо  кончается.

                    Урок  подходит  к  концу, но  мы  не

                    говорим – Good-bye, мы  говорим – Hello!

                    Let’s  sing  a  song: « Hello, Good-bye!»

                  LONDON SIGHTSEEING

Pupil 1:   London is the capital of England. It  is  its  political,

    business  and  cultural  centre. It  stands  on  the  river 

    Thames. London  has  in  fact  several  parts: the  City,

    the  West  End, the  East  End  and  Westminster. The

    city  is  the  oldest  part  of  London, its  financial  and 

    business  centre. In  the  West  End  there  are  big  shops,

     hotels, museums, art  galleries, theatres  and  concert  halls.

    The  East  End  is  an  industrial  district  of  the  capital.               Pupil 2:   Big  Ben  is  the  bell  which  strikes  every  quarter  of  an 

    hour. It’s  a  large  clock  in  one  of  the  towers  of  the 

     Houses  of  Parliament.

Pupil 3:   Westminster  Abbey  is a  church  where  the  tombs  of  many 

    English  kings  and  queens, scientists  and  writers  are  there.

Pupil 4:   Buckingham  Palace  is  the residence of  the  queen  Elizabeth  the II.

               In  front  of  it  is  the  Queen  Victoria  Memorial.

Pupil 5:  Trafalgar  Square  was  named  in  the  memory  of  the  victory  at the

               battle. The  statue  of  Lord  Nelson  is  in  the middle  of  this  square.

Pupil 6:  The  National  Gallery  is  one  of  the  best  picture  galleries  of  the

               world.

Pupil 7:   St. Paul’s  Cathedral  is  a  beautiful  building  with  many  columns

                and  towers. In  one  of  its  towers  there  is  one  of  the  largest bells

                in  the  world.  St. Paul’s  contains  memorials  to  many  national

                heroes.  There  are  steps  to  the  whispering  gallery  inside  the

               dome  where  words  whispered  into  the  stone  can  be  heard  right

                round  the  other  side.

Pupil 8:   The  Tower  of  London  was  a  fortress,  a  palace,  a  prison  and

                the  king’s zoo.  Now  it’s  a museum. There  are  a  lot of  interesting

                things  in  the  halls  of  the  White  Tower.  It’s  a  home  of  the

                Crown  Jewels:  the  Crown  of  the  queen  Elizabeth  with  the 

                Indian  diamond.

Pupil 9:   Tower  Bridge  which  crosses  the  Thames  beside  the  Tower  has

                a  distinctive  victorian  construction  and  can  be  opened  to  let  big

                ships  pass  into  the  Pool  of  London.
