«The animal world».

Цели и задачи урока:

•         Образовательные:

ü активизировать употребление ранее изученной лексики в речи учащихся по теме «Животные»;

ü совершенствовать навыки речевой деятельности учащихся;

ü обогатить знания о животных.

•         Развивающие:

ü развить творческие и артистические способности учащихся;

ü  развить умения учащихся осуществлять монологические высказывания;

•         Воспитательные:

ü формировать потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи при работе в паре.

ü  воспитать у ребят чувства любви к животным;

ü  расширить кругозор  учащихся;

ü привить интерес к английскому языку.

Оборудование урока:

УМК; иллюстрации животных; аудиозапись из передачи «В мире животных»; презентация в Power Point.

Звучит музыка из передачи «В мире животных».

Teacher: Good morning, dear friends and guests. We start our broadcast about those we love and make friends with, the broadcast about the animal world. I am happy that we meet again with you. Our program will be unusual. There are a lot of guests, especially children, in this studio today. Everybody can take part in our program. Let’s welcome them.

Pupil: Boy and girls often ask me to tell them about Indian animals. Today's program I would like to begin with the story about these amazing creatures. 

India is a country that is known for its incredible colors, spices and culture. But did you know it’s also home of exotic animals? Some of these animals are never seen on other continents (outside of zoos) and some are even threatened by extinction. 

There are two zoologists in our studio who will tell us about Indian animals. Find out more about them.

Zoologist 1: Good afternoon, everybody. At first I’d like to tell you about the national animal of India. It is the Bengal tiger. It is red or orange with black, grey or brown stripes. It hides in tall grass and hunts big animals like deer. It is a really beautiful animal.

The Indian cobra is a black, brown, white or yellow snake. It is a very dangerous snake.

Zoologist 2: Look at Indian elephants. They are very big and tall (2-3 metres), but they have small ears. Usually a big female is the head of a family of elephants. Indian people use elephants to carry heavy things with their trunks.

Pupil: Have you ever ride on elephants?

Zoologist 2: Yes. It is very interesting but not safe.

The next animal is a rhino. The Indian rhino is a funny animal! It only has one horn (African rhinos have two). It usually lives alone and likes to sit in water or mud. There are only about 2,500 Indian rhinos today.

Zoologist 1: Chinkara are also known as Indian gazelles, and live in hills, deserts, and light forests. These creatures are shy and avoid humans. It has a reddish brown coat and white fur. Chinkara are known for their incredible jumping abilities!

Zoologist 2: Another interesting animals are langurs. They can be seen daily in the streets of many major cities. You can tell them apart from monkeys and other primates by their small black faces and white or beige fur.

Pupil: Thank you for your coming and telling about amazing animals. It was really interesting. I hope the spectators are pleased to hear the answer. I wish you success in your future work.

Разминка «Тигр»

Teacher: Now I show you one exercise which is useful for your body. Presenting yourself  a tiger, stand up straight, put your feet parallel. Hands down along your body, palms back. Keep your head straight, push the tongue to the sky, knees slightly bent.

Take a breath, hold your breath.

Breath hold straightening the knees and raising your head, slowly bring your hands, clenched into fists to chest level .

Pupil: And now we return to our animals. Today we will speak not only about wild animals and about our furry friends, pets. There are boy and girl who wants to present us their pet lovers.  

4-5 учеников представляются по очереди и знакомят со своими питомцами, остальные задают вопросы.

Примерные рассказы детей.
1) Most people like animals. They keep animals at home as pets. Pets may be different. People like dogs and cats, birds and hamsters, rabbits and hedgehogs, some people even like snakes. But you can't keep any animals as a pet even if you like him very much. Can a crocodile make a good pet? Or a lion, or a tiger, or a bear? You may love them, but will they love you? Some day when they are big they may become dangerous.
As for me, I prefer dogs. They are so clever and truthful. When they look at you with their beautiful eyes it seems to you that they understand you but can't talk.
People teach dogs to understand commands, to do some tricks. And it thinks dogs teach people to be kinder, to think of others. People change for better when they keep pets.
Sure, pets need much care. You must keep the place where they sleep and eat tidy and clean, you must give them three meals a day. Dogs need more attention and care than cats. You must take then for walks at least two times a day.
I have a dog as a pet. His name is Ret. I like him very much. I bought him. My dog is kind. He has a black nose, brown and black fur. My dog is pedigree. He likes to bathe. Ret enjoys Chappi and bones. I go for a walk with Ret. My father helps me to take care of the dog. I like Ret very much.

2) I have a cat. His name is Barsik. He is very funny. He is a kitten and he likes to play very much. But he also likes to spoil newspapers and my socks. He likes to eat fish and I give him milk every day. He doesn't go for a walk, put I play with him every evening. He likes to play with my arms and he scare my legs. I like him very much.

Примерные вопросы: What does your pet like to eat most of all? Where does your pet sleep?и т.д.

Teacher: Thank you for communicating with these remarkable animals. Good luck in the future education of your favorite animals.

Pupil: Do you know how many years domestic animals live?

На доске вывешивается таблица.

Rabbits-5, sheep-12, cats-13, dogs-15, goats-15, cows-25, pigs-25, horses-30, camels-40.

Teacher: Children, don't hurt animals. It is necessary for you to remember some rules about your pets.

·         Give him food every day.

·         Give him water every day.

·         Give him a clean place to sleep.

Pupil: Our program is coming to the end. Dear boys and girls, write me e-mails , ask questions, and we will tell you about it and show.

Teacher: There are a lot of interesting in animals’ life. What is happening  in the world of animals we’ll talk next time.

Pupil: Bye-bye, until the next meeting.
