Целевая установка: формирование развития навыков и умений иноязычной
речевой деятельности: говорения, аудирования чтения, овладение учащимися
иноязычной лексикой, решение комплексных целей урока (обучение общению на
иностранном языке).
Задачи урока:
1. учебно-методические задачи:
- активизировать речевые навыки учащихся
(монолог, диалог);
- развивать навыки аудирования;
- активизировать грамматические навыки
(Present Simple);
- развивать навыки чтения вслух;
- развивать монологические навыки.
2. общеобразовательные задачи:
- развивать культуру умственного труда
путем организации речевого общения;
- развивать индивидуальные учебные
способности учащихся;
- расширять фоновые знания учащихся по
обсуждаемой проблеме.
3. воспитательные задачи:
- повышать мотивацию учащихся к изучению
языка;
I. Организационный момент
Good morning, children! I am glad to see you! Sit
down please!
What date is it today, Ruslan?- Today is the
twentieth of April.
What day of the week is it today, Nastya?- Today
it is Wednesday.
Oksana, is anybody absent today?- Nobody , all are
present.

Children, today we will travel through London and
learn some information about places of interest in London such as Big Ben,
Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and other. Besides, some
of you will be guides and help me to do the excursion.

Are you ready to start our excursion?- Yes, we do.
Let's start it with a sightseeing tour on a double-decker bus. Take your seats
in this double-decker bus. And make yourself comfortable, please.Ребята, на ваших партах лежат памятки, на которых написаны некоторые новые слова, которые встретятся
в рассказах наших гидов. При рассказах мы
будем обращаться к этим памяткам. И так, ваша задача - внимательно прослушать
рассказ о той или иной достопримечательности, задавать вопросы если таковые
будут и по окончании экскурсии ваш ждет небольшая викторина. Now
let's start our excursion. London is the capital of the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and Northern Ireland. London is an old city. It is more 2000 years old.
There are many places of interest in
the city:

Trafalgar Square;
·
The Houses of Parliament;
·
The Tower of London;
·
Big Ben;
·
Buckingham Palace;
·
Westminster Abbey.
And we start with Trafalgar Square. First of all
look at the card number 1 and listen to some new words: The statue of Lord
Nelson, the National Gallery of Art, the National Portrait Gallery,
demonstrations, pigeons, symbol. And now our guide Oksana will tell us about this place of
interest.
1. Trafalgar
Square is in the West End of London. There is the Statue of Lord Nelson in the
centre of the square. We can see the National Gallery of Art and the National
Portrait Gallery there. It is the place for demonstrations. Londoners like to
come here. There are many pigeons in the square and Londoners like to feed
them. Dove is the symbol of peace all over the world. Thank you,Ediya. Has
anybody questions to Ediya?
-Alisa: I have a question.
- Teacher: Well, Alisa, ask your question, please?
- Alisa: Where is Trafalgar Square?
- E: Trafalgar Square is in the West End of
London.
-Malek: I have a question too.
- Teacher: Well, Nastya, ask your question,
please?
- M: What galleries can we see there?
- E: We can see the National Gallery of Art and
National Portrait Gallery.
- Muslim: I have a question too. What is the
symbol of Trafalgar Square?
- E: Dove is the symbol of Trafalgar Square.
Now you can see the Houses of Parliament. Look at
the card number 2 and listen to the new words. Now our guide Alisa will tell us about this place of
interest.
2. The Houses of
Parliament are on the river Thames. The official name of it is the Palace of
Westminster. It is the place of the British Parliament. Its members make laws
there. Many years ago the Palace of Westminster was a home for the Royal
family. Thank you, Alisa. Has anybody questions to Alisa?
- E: I
have a question.
- Teacher:
Well, Ediya, ask your question, please?
- E: Are the
Houses of Parliament on the river Thames?
- A: Yes, the Houses of Parliament is on the river Tames.
- Muslim: I
have a question too. Is it the place of the British Parliament?
- A: Yes, it is.
Now we will go to the Tower of London of London.
Look at the card number 3 and listen to the new words. Now our guide Muslim will tell us about the
Tower of London.
3. You can see the Tower of London from the river Thames. The
Tower is very old. It has a long and cruel history. Many years ago it was a
fortrees. Then it was a prison. And now it is a museum of armour. And nowadays
only ravens live in the Tower of London. Thank you, Muslim. Has anybody
questions to Muslim?
- Malek: I have. Where can you see the Tower of London?
- Muslim: We
can see the Tower of London from the river Thames.
- Ediya: Is the
Tower very old?
- Muslim: Yes,
it is. The Tower is very old.
Now we are at Big Ben. Look at the card number 4
and listen to the new words. Now our guide Alisa
will tell us about Big Ben.
4. Big Ben is the most famous clock in the world. Big Ben is a
symbol of London. It is a big bell. You can hear it every hour. People can get
into the Tower and watch the works of Big Ben. Thank you,Malek. Has anybody questions
to Nastya?
- Ediya: I have

Now you can see Westminster Abbey. Look at card
number 5 and listen to the new words. Now our guide Ediya will us about this place
of interest.
5. Westminster
Abbey is an old church. It was built in the eleventh century. It was a symbol
of England. English kings and queens are crowned there. Some famous people are
buried in the Abbey. For example, Charles Dickens, an English writer.
And the last place of interest, which will see,
will be Buckingham Palace. And I will tell you some information
about it. Thank you, Ediya. Has anybody questions to Ediya?
- Alisa: I have a question. Is Westminster Abbey
an old church?
-Ediya: Yes, it is. Westminster Abbey is an old
church.
6. Buckingham Palace is the London house of British Royal
family. It is a large palace. There are more than 6 hundred rooms in it. There
you can find a hospital, 2 sport clubs, a cinema, 2 post offices and a swimming
pool. Now it is the home of the Queen Elizabeth. When the flag is flying on the
top, she is at home. Has anybody questions to me?
- Alisa: I have
a question. Is it a large palace?
- Teacher: Yes,
it is. It is a large palace.
- Alisa: How many rooms are there in Buckingham Palace?
- Teacher:
There are more than 6 hundred rooms in it.
