Урок-закрепление в 4 классе по теме «Степени сравнения
прилагательных. Животные»
Выполнено учителем английского языка Паньковой Г.Ю.
Урок подготовлен с целью закрепления лексического материала по
теме «Животные», применения ранее изученного материала в новых ситуациях
общения, активизации степеней сравнения прилагательных. А также с целью
приобщения учеников к работе с современными технологиями.
Цель урока: Развитие
коммуникативной культуры и социально-культурной образованности учащихся, позволяющих
участвовать в социально-бытовой и учебной сфере.
Задачи:
Обучающие:
1. тренировка
произносительных навыков;
2. закрепление
лексического материала по теме «Животные»;
3. активизация
степеней сравнения прилагательных;
Развивающие:
1. говорение - развивать
навыки монологической и диалогической речи;
2. письмо - развитие
навыков письма;
3. развитие памяти и
логического мышления.
Воспитательные:
Воспитание любви
к животным, природе.
Оборудование:

Today we start our lesson
with a song. When we listen to it we will know the theme of our lesson. Are you
ready? ( pupils listen to the song)

theme “Animals. Degrees of comparison.”

see (riddles):

white in winter.
It likes to sleep. It
eats carrots and cabbage,
It
can run and jump.

It’s funny. It can’t stay on the place.
My
nose is short, It likes to eat bananas.
My tail is long, We
can see it at the zoo.
I’m afraid of a cat.
7. It is green. It can swim. 8.
It is big, strong and kind.
It has sharp teeth and It
likes to eat leaves, twigs

4. Now we will know not only the name of
the animals but some other information about them. Let’s play the game”Actors”:
Here you see the daisy. Your task is to choose one petal with the name of the
animal and describe it with sounds or mimics, and we must guess. Then we will
speak about this animal. You can use the algorithm (on the whiteboard):
- The name
- The place (it lives…)
- Food (it likes to eat…)
- Activities (it can…)
- Qualities (it is big, small, angry…)
5. Let’s check your attention and move a
little. Yes, you know a lot about animals and now, please, clap your hands when
you hear the words on the topic “Animals” and stamp your feet in the other case
( for example – monkey…book… ) :
- fox, pig, elephant, wolf, family, bear,
desk, lion, dog, tiger, boy, mother, cow, panda, horse, computer, dolphin,
whale, giraffe, table, chair, fox, ostrich, picture, hamster, window, parrot,
camel, house, tortoise, cheetah, dress, python, snail, door.
6. Now, please, open your students’ books
at page 82 ex. 1:
Let us make up the dialogues.
So, what did we do? – Yes, we compared. Let
us remember the degrees of comparison (the presentation “Degrees of
comparison”).
Now, let us compare the animals. (Video to
Starlight 4, Module 3)
7. Oh, I know, all of you have your own favorite
animal. So now, you have the chance to tell us about them. Who will be the
first?(Children’s presentations).
8. You worked very well and we have time
for your favorite game Stickers (a student has a table with the name of an
animal but does not see it. He asks different questions and tries to guess the
name, for example - Am I big/ red/ domestic? Can I swim/ fly…? Other students
answer only “yes” and “no”)
9. Did you see any cartoons about animals?
(King Lion, The Book of the Jungle, The Ice Age, Winnie-the-Pooh, Masha and the
Bear, The Thumbelina…..)
Now I want you to learn one of the songs
from these cartoons – Hakuna- Matata (the video from You Tube):
