The psychological methods of
studying foreign languages.
The
subject of my research is « The psychological methods of studying foreign
languages». As a result of the review the most advanced methods of studying
foreign languages, I came to the conclusion that psychology also offers a wide
range of different methods of studying foreign languages. For example, courses
and books by A. Dragunkin who became popular because of the complex material
given in a psychologically competent manner. Pupils emotions, interests and
pleasure are supported by the material in the form of playing manner. Such
an approach removes fears, complexes in studying foreign languages, gives
large freedom at oral speech.
The next
approach is the so called effect of 25 slide. It is a huge method of
inspiration.
Imagine, you
are the pupils of the 5 form. And your task is to write a short composition
about your last trip to the forest. I do this to find out ones psycho- types
such as( аудиалы, вузуалы, кинестептики.) to choose the right material and methods of teaching. Working on the
words that sound similarly, but differ in meaning I always try to use the
phonetic association method.
The aim of
this method is 1. To find a word like his native word and
2. make up a plot consisting of the words that accord tj the translation.
Lets have an English word «look» - смотреть- созвучным словом будет
русское слово «лук». Сюжет может быть таким «Не могу смотреть , когда режут
лук».
Hill – холм. Хилый с трудом
взбирается на холм.
Muzzle – морда. Измазал всю морду.
Now find
your own phonetic associations and make up a plot/
1.Bull -бык
2.Lip –губа
3.Mesh -мешок
4.Desert - пустыня
5.ally- союзник.
Nowdays
there is a wide range of psychological methods. And may be near the time
when we fall asleep under the special program and wake up with magnificent
knowledge of foreign languages . That time is not so far, to my mind.
