Турнир знатоков английского языка

Цель: повышение интереса к изучению английского языка.

Задачи:

Образовательная: расширять кругозора учащихся.

Развивающие: развивать познавательную активность и умения применять полученные знания в новой коммуникативной ситуации; развивать интеллектуальные способности; формировать мотивацию к изучению английского языка.

Воспитательные: воспитывать уважительное отношение к другой культуре; развитие умения работать в команде.

Оборудование:

Доска, листы бумаги (2шт. на каждого ученика), карточки с буквами (для определения названия команд), карточки с рифмующимися словами (2 экз.), картинки с ребусами, карточки со стихами (2 экз.), разрезанный лимерик (2экз.).

Ход урока

Организационный момент.

T: Good morning boys and girls. Today we are going to have a little fun. You will see that learning English is very interesting and fun. But first we shall speak about your mood! I have the pictures of 4 faces. They are “OK”, “Good”, “Bad”, “So-so”. If your mood is fine, draw “Good”, if your mood is good, draw “OK”, if your mood is bad, draw “Bad”, if your mood is so-so, draw “So-so”.

T: We’ll have a competition so let’s form two teams. Now let’s find names for your teams.

Задание 1:

1    Our first game is “Warming-up”. Each team should answer my question in turn.

2.     How many seasons are there in a year? (4 seasons)
