Сценарий к внеклассному мероприятию «Шекспировский вечер»

Цели: развитие интереса учащихся к культурному наследию Великобритании, расширение кругозора по теме, совершенствование социокультурной компетенции учащихся, воспитание умения работать в команде.


Участники: 10-11 классы


Материалы и оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, экран, карточки с заданиями, бумага. 



Ход мероприятия

(2 ведущих)

1 - Good morning, dear friends. Let us begin our meeting devoted to the outstanding English writer William Shakespeare. The name Of William Shakespeare is known all over the world.


2 - William Shakespeare was a famous English poet and probably the greatest playwright who has ever lived. People often call Shakespeare «Our National Bard», «The Immortal Poet Of Nature». He was born on the 23 of April, 1564, in Stratford-on-Avon.


1 - At the age of six he was sent to school, but had to leave it at the age of 13. William had to help his father in the trade. His father was a dealer in corn, meat, wool. William’s mother was a daughter of a rich farmer in the village of Wilmcote.


2 - At the age of 18 he married Ann Hathaway, who was 9 years older that himself. They had a daughter Susanna and twins – son Hamnet and daughter Judith.


1 - William Shakespeare wrote 154 sonnets and 37 plays. Shakespeare's sonnets occupy a unique place in his literary legacy.


2 - Some critics hold the opinion that they are autobiographical, while others think them mere variations on themes traditional in Renaissance poetry. There are three main characters in the sonnets: the Poet, his Friend and the Dark Lady.


1 - In 1567 Shakespeare went to London, to find a job, where he began writing plays staged at the Globe Theatre. He began a successful career in London. Among Shakespeare’s plays there are historical dramas such as «Henry 4» and « Richard 3», comedies such as «The Taming of the Shrew», and «Twelfth Night», great tragedies such as "Hamlet", "Othello", "King Lear".


2 - By 1592, he had been an important member of a well-known acting company. Only in 1611, at the height of his fame, Shakespeare returned to Stratford, where in April 23,1616 he died. He was buried in a fine old church in Stratford.
