Greeting
|
So, I’m glad to see you at our theatre.

do you think is more important for an actor good articulation or interesting

Also,
an actor should speak in a loud voice and we’ll try to do it too. Stand up,
please
Now
let’s throw the word “theatre” high in the air
Thank
you
Let’s
throw it down
Well

Let’s

The

The

So
what about emotions? Is it important for a good actor?
Time
to revise some useful words.
Great.
Let’s play the game “crocodile” Someone shows one of the emotions without
words, using only gestures. And the rest have to guess the word. If you know
the word, raise your hand, please. I’ll start.
|

Happy,
sad, angry, tired, frightened, anxious, bored, excited, proud, interested,
embarrassed, surprised, thoughtful

During
this year we’ve learnt 5 different tongue twisters. Repeat them after me. Now
youк task is to read
the tongue twister using the emotion that you’ll get. You’ll have 1 minute to
get ready.
Other students
have to guess the emotion.

A girl sees three big grey geese.
A cup of nice coffee in a nice coffee-cup.
Nine, nineteen and ninety.
Snow is so snowy, when it’s snowing.
This is the tenth floor.

Every
actor should be a singer too. Let’s sing our song.
Girls

It was raining, raining, raining hard.
It was falling on my head.
It was falling on the stars.
It was falling on the sun.
It was falling on my shoes.
I got soaking wet.
I got soaking wet.
But I stayed outside.
I stayed outside.
The rain was_sweet.
The rain was warm.
The rain was soft.
It reminded me of home.
It was raining, raining, raining hard.
It was falling, falling, falling on the stars.
It was raining, raining, raining hard.
It was falling, falling, falling on the stars.
Soft rain
Raining, raining
Sweet rain

I’ve
already told you that Pupils from the 10 form have prepared a short
performance for you, the extract from “Pride and prejudice” by Jane Austen,
but first of all we are to make a poster for them. Let’s make 2 groups.
You’re the first and you’re the second. So, you will create 2 posters. I’ll
give you all the needed material and 4 minutes, then you will present your
poster
