Hello everyone!
Welcome to our festival! Today we are going to Ireland.
Ireland is a beautiful green land.
Today on the 17th of March we are celebrating Saint Patrick's Day. It is a great holiday for Irish people.
There are fabulous parades in the streets.
People dress up and dance in the streets.
In the evenings they set off fireworks. They also have family dinners with special food.

Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland . Interesting fact
is that Saint Patrick was not Irish , he was English.
there is a legend that saint Patrick scared all the snakes and they ran away from Ireland.
There are no snakes in Ireland today.

He lives with his mother And a cow, called Daisy! One day, when young Jack Is sleeping upstairs, |
Mrs Trott - Jack's mother – Wakes him and says...
Mother: |
Wake up, my dear!
You must get up this minute. Our cupboard is empty, There's nothing to eat! Go to the market!
Sell the cow for money
To buy milk, bread and honey!
Scene 2 Jack:
Come, my poor Daisy.
Let's go to town.
Old man:
What's that you've got, boy?
Let me look at your cow. That cow is good.
Will you give her to me?
Jack: No, I can’t I need money for food.
I'll give you magic beans!
Jack:
Magic beans!?
Narrator:
Jack hurries home with the beans.
He goes to his mother
But she's angry and screams...
Mother:
You silly young boy!
We do not need these beans.
We just need some money!
Open the window To throw these away!
Scene 3 Narrator:
But they get a surprise
When they wake up, next day ...
Mother:
What's in our garden?
Jack: Oh, wow! It's a beanstalk And it's taller than me!
Narrator:
Jack climbed the beanstalk
To the castle in the sky
He walked to the door
And meets a giantess
Giantess:
What do you want, boy? My husband is not here.
I'm sure when he gets back
He will eat you, my dear'
shake ...
Giantess:
The giant is coming —
Hide in here
Scene 4 Narrator:
The giant comes in
And then he looks all around.
Giant:
Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum
I smell the blood of an
Englishman
Giantess;
No, my dear husband,
That’s your dinner
Giant:
Now, bring me my hen
Giantess:
Here you are
Narrator:
Then the hen lays an egg - After that, it lays ten!
So, Jack grabbed the Hen, and headed for the door
The door slammed behind him,
and the Giant gave a
ROAR
Giant:
Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum
I smell the blood of an
Englishman
Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum
Hey Jack, get back!
Hey Jack, get back!
Narrator:
Down, down, down,
Jack went back home
Jack cut down the beanstalk
He can’t climb up no more
But still sometimes he hears
The Giant mighty ROAR
Scene 5 Jack:
Mother, I am home!
Mother:
That sweet voice - is it my Jack's?
What is that, my dear, a hen?
Jack: We'll never be poor now, Mother, never again!
Narrator:
The hen lays some eggs
And they're all golden and round.
Then Jack brings back Daisy
The next day, from the town!
So Jack, his mother,
The hen and Daisy the cow Are all very happy now!
