“Health is the ‘best
wealth”.
I.
Организационный момент.
T: – Good morning! I’m very glad to
see you. Sit down please.
S: - Good morning.
T: - Who is on duty today?
S: - I am on duty today.
T: - Who is absent today?
S: - N. is absent today.
T: - What day is it today?
S: - Today is Mandy.
T: - What date is it today?
S: - Today is the 3 th of December.
T: - Thank you. Sit down please.
T: – Today we’ll speak on the topic
“Health is the ‘best wealth. We’ll discuss how sports, balanced diet help us to
be fit, healthy and strong. We shall speak about sports in our school. You will
know something interesting and new for you. I hope that our co-operation will
be important and useful for you and for me. You see that your health is in your
own hands. Thousands years ago ancient Greeks said: The ‘first ‘wealth is
health. ‘Health is the ‘best wealth. These words will be a redline of today’s
lesson.
2. Фонетическая зарядка.
T: Today we are going to learn some new proverbs, to revise some words about
sport, to speak about health and sport in our life, to say what we must do to
keep fit, but first of all look at the blackboard.
(На доске написаны слова и пословица)
Early to bed,
Early to rise,
Makes a man
Healthy, wealthy and wise.
Работа с пословицей.
- отработать звуки;
- отработать слова с этими звуками и предложить учащимся найти
верный перевод слов;
Healthy - здоровый,
Wealthy - богатый,
Wise - мудрый.
- отчитать пословицу в режиме T -Sl;
- перевести пословицу; (Кто рано ложится и рано встает, тот
умно, богато, здорово живет)
- чтение пословицы в режиме S1; S2; S3.
- запись пословицы в словарь;
- выучить пословицу дома наизусть.
III. Речевая зарядка:
T: Какие составляющие здоровья вы знаете?
Food, good habits, lifestyle, doctor.
IV. «Интервью».
T: I think you will agree with me if a person wants
to be healthy he should have health habits. I suppose it will be interesting to
ask our guests about their health habits. Take question lists and interview
each other.

V. Диалог:
– Look at the blackboard. We see a woman. We are going to reading to her
interview. She’ll tell us about healthy food and some other things we should do
to keep fit. There are 3 words in her story which are very important for us.
Look at the blackboard! (Слова записаны на доске в одну строчку)
– Vitamins Carbohydrates Protein
Объясняется значение этих слов, и они отрабатываются
фонетически.
Читают и переводят диалог. Заполняют таблицу у
себя в тетради. Заполняем на доске.

- What other useful advice does the Olympic runner give us? Make notes if necessary!
Ответы учащихся на последний вопрос можно кратко выписать
на доске.

- Have a good breakfast.

V. Аудирование
And now we’re going to listen a text about the man you can see in the
picture.
Повесить картинку с изображением толстяка:

What can you say about his looks? (Stout, short, doesn’t look
strong or healthy, has got weak muscles, doesn’t lead an active way of life,
enjoys watching TV, and hates sports.)
Читаю 3 раза текст. Студенты записывают в тетрадь, что поняли.
“I am 120 kilos and I want to lose weight. I usually have
tea and cakes for breakfast and I sometimes have bacon and eggs. I get hungry
in the middle of the morning and I often eat a bar of chocolate or a sandwich.
I usually have a big lunch of something like sausages, beans and chips at
Fred’s Restaurant. For dessert I have ice-cream which I love. In the evening I
have a sandwich at about 6 o’clock and then I go out for dinner. I like going
to an Italian restaurant near my home. Before going to bed I usually have a cup
of hot chocolate and some cakes.”
Ответьте на вопросы к тексту:
– Is everything clear? Good.
– Now, read out what the man writes about his breakfast. What advice can you
give him? What about late morning? Read his words. Your advice? Read about his
lunch, about the way he has dinner, etc.
– What wrong things does he do?
Учащиеся называют ошибки в его образе жизни.
– Well, if he follows all your advice, what will the result be?
Учащиеся описывают здоровый образ жизни этого человека и
его состояние здоровья.
– So, you see food plays a very important role in our life. You know a car
needs fuel to run. What do people need to live? (Food.)
– Can we say that food is a kind of fuel for people?
VII. Подготовка к устному домашнему заданию
– Now it’s time to summarize everything we’ve been speaking about today.
– What should we do to keep fit?
– Try to say as much as you can. My pictures will help you.
Картинки по-очереди вешаются на доску.
– If I show you an apple, it will mean healthy food.
– You can say: “We should eat healthy food. Food must be balanced and varied.”
Clear?
Яблоко и весы:
We must eat fruit and vegetables, as they contain vitamins, especially vitamin
C; etc.
Пирог:
We should avoid sweet things. They make us fat and they are bad for our
teeth.
Кроссовка и мяч:
We should go in for sports regularly. If we have no time, we can exercises:
jog, walk as much as possible. Spend much time outdoors.
Рюмка, сигареты:
We shouldn’t smoke or drink alcohol.
Больница:
We should consult the doctor regularly to prevent illness.
По каждой картинке можно дать несколько вариантов ответа,
дав возможность высказаться нескольким учащимся.
