1. Организационный момент
(приветствие и объяснение целей урока)
- Good morning, boys and girls! I’m
glad to see you. (We are glad to see you.)
- How are you today? (We are fine,
thanks. And how are you?)
- I am fine too, thanks. Who is
absent today? (All are present.)
- Today at our lesson we are going
to listen to a wonderful story and discuss it. And at the beginning of our
lesson we’ll write a dictation.
2. Проверка домашнего задания

- Open your vocabularies, pupils!
You have a minute to remember the spelling of the words before dictation.
-Now open your exercise-books and
write the date. Today we’ll write a short story about animals in danger.

Many wild
animals and birds are in danger today. In the past people used to kill them to
protect their domestic animals and their lives. Today they kill them for fun
and for their beautiful skins.
Tigers and
elephants are among them. They have to hide from people in deep forests.
Other animals
are disappearing from the Earth too, because their water is not always clean
and the air is not fresh even high in the mountains.
We must save
wild animals. We must take care of nature.

P5: I suppose the tiger thought
that people wanted to kill him and he decided to attack people earlier.
- I see, you have wonderful imagination. I agree
with your answers. Now let’s listen to the text again and then you’ll
answer my questions.

the order they are given in the text to make an outline of the story.

work in pairs and tell the story to each other. Use the
sentences from the blackboard as a plan.
