Stand up! Stand strait! Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. I’m glad to see you! How are you today? And what about you?
So, let’s start.

Who is on duty today? Who is absent? Let's start our lesson. We will play and work much.

Today we’ll speak about travellings. Do you like to travel? What did you travel in Winter Holiday? What interesting were there?

The topic of the lesson: “Winter Holiday”.

Warming-up: 

T: Class, look at the screen and try to guess what we will talk about today?
Cl: We will talk about winter holiday.
T: Yes, you’re right. Where do you usually spend your winter holiday?
T: And what do you usually do? (Pre-listening)
P1: play snowballs
P2: make a snowman
T: Ok, good of you.

T: Great! And what season is coming after spring?

P2:

T: Right you are. Look at the board, summer is coming. And what are your associations with the word “summer”?

P1: P2: P3: (учащиеся проговаривают свои ассоциации со словом “лето”)

T: That’s right. People usually travel in summer. So, today we are going to speak about travelling. Please, look at the board and read the saying. (The world is the book. And those who do not travel read only one page) What do you think about it?

T: So, today we are going to make a plan of travelling. What points should we mention to make a plan? P1: P2: P3: (қайда? немен? Не аламыз? Не істейміз?)

T: Well done!


The countries

T: Let’s start with the countries. What countries do you know?

T: Great, you know so many countries. Look at the board, please. Where can you see and visit these things?

T: Let’s work in groups. Each group has an envelop. You can see a plan of travelling, a list of basic words and some pictures (a flag and sightseeing) there. Complete your plan.

T: Are you ready? Let’s check then. Read out your plans but don’t name the countries, other groups should guess them.

Home task. Learn new words. Read the text on p.19 ex.2

T: You worked well. Take the sheets of paper on your desks and fill in the table.


T: I have some postcards for you. Come up to the table and choose any you like. Hope, they’ll remind you of our lesson. It was my pleasure to work with you today. Have a nice travelling!
