Now, I'm going to give a talk about books.

whether reading is still popular with teenagers, and why, or why not	I think it's impossible to live without reading. But I think that most teenagers are reading less and less nowadays. It seems to me that the main reason is the fact that there are a lot of distractions like social networks, computer games, videos. As a consequence, kids get lazy and can’t make themselves read.
what kind of books you like reading	As for me, I like reading. My favourite kind of books is a romantic novel. I like books about ordinary people. Jane Austen is my favourite writer because all her stories end on a happy note.
why many people prefer e-books to paper books	Most people nowadays prefer e-books to paper ones, as paper books cost more and occupy a lot of space in your home. Some really huge paper books are too heavy to be taken with you. As for e-books, you can take them with you wherever you go.

In conclusion, I'd like to say that books contain a lot of useful information and give pleasure.

Task 3.2 You are going to give a talk about books. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes (10-12 sentences).

what kind of books modern teenagers enjoy reading  what kinds of books are popular with Russian teenagers	Talking about popular kind of books with (Russian) teenagers, I think it is science fiction. Young people are imaginative and they enjoy reading stories about life in the future and in other parts of the universe.
whether libraries are necessary nowadays or not, and why why we need libraries	As for libraries, I am sure they are still necessary nowadays. Firstly, not all books can be obtained on the Internet. Usually libraries contain more books than the Internet. What is more, all books in the library are free of charge. That is not the case with bookshops or the Internet.
what book you have read recently, and what it was about	As far as I'm concerned, the book I've recently read is called Before the Fall by Noah Hawley. The story is about a plane crash. The book details the relationship between a man and a boy who survive the crash, and this gives the story its heart.
