  Caucasophobia - neologism introduced in the Russian and Caucasian media. The term refers to hostility in Russia to the peoples of the Caucasus. Caucasian - a collective term that refers to any member of the indigenous peoples of the Caucasus. In Russian slang, Caucasians and Central Asians fall into the category of "black." This is not necessarily due to their skin color, but rather the color of hair and non-Slavic appearance. These people regard as dangerous elements that are a threat to public safety.

  How to deal with racist people
  Don't follow your initial emotional response
  If you're getting worked up you only suffer high blood pressure and stress.
  Remember that they might be less enlightened and tolerant than you are. They might not even know that their comment or action is racist.
  Anger is a weapon only to one's opponent.
  People's ability to convince themselves they're not racist is astounding (“I'm not racist, but…”).
  
  Be a role model to others . By showing others that you don't tolerate hatred, you encourage others to do the same. Treating others with respect sends the message that no one should be treated unfairly or differently because of who they are. Tell people that you won't let your heritage determine who you are or how you live your life.
