● Good morning,
dear students! I am glad to see you. I'm also pleased to see our guests on
the lesson. The weather is very good today and I hope that you`re doing well
too. Students, I am sure that you will be very active as usual and we will
have a very fruitful lesson today! Now take your seats please, smile and be
ready to work hard. Let us go!

today? (Today is the 18th of April.)

● We will begin
with our phonetic training as usual. I say and you repeat after me altogether

● Alright. Now
open your student's books at page 81. We are going to revise the text
“Building Big”. What is it about? (It is about the Empire State Building). You have
30 seconds for revision.
● Ready? Your task
is to describe the Empire State Building using the superlative degree.

● Great! Now you
will be given a shortened text about this building. You are supposed to
complete this text with the adjectives given in the box. Work in
pairs (См. Приложение 3).
● Let us
read.
● Everything

● So, we have seen
that we use the degrees of comparison to describe what? (Buildings)
● But we can also
use them to describe other sightseeings. Look at the screen. Here you are
given three of them. You can see the first part of the names. Try to guess
what the second part of this or that name is. (Moscow Zoo, Lake
Baikal, Sochi Park)
● Right you are.
Choose one and read the text about it and translate. Somebody will
continue.
● Great! Now look
at me! I have got some cards. You choose one. Please be quick.
