1. Работа по карте “The United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Northern Ireland”.
(Два ученика
рассказали о географическом положении Соединенного Королевства).
2. “Symbols”.
“What is the national flower of…?
На доске
расположены четыре символа четырех стран Соединенного Королевства. Надо назвать
эти символы и показать на карте к какой стране относятся эти символы. (
Daffodil, thistle, rose, shamrock)
3. “Flags”.
К доске прикреплено
несколько разноцветных полос из цветной бумаги. Надо назвать и показать цвета
флага Великобритании (red, blue,white)
4. “Do

Выставляются

these writers?”. Учащимся предлагается посмотреть на портреты
известных английских писателей и угадать, кто изображен на фотографии.

отдельно. Были поставлены следующие вопросы:

Показываются рисунки, которые нарисовали сами ученики (a red heart, a kilt, …). Учащиеся должны ответить с чем ассоциируются у них эти рисунки. Можно ограничиться одним словом, предложением. Например, a red heart –

На столе лежат листки и на них
напечатано по 1-2 предложения. Поочередно подходят ученики и читают, что
напечатано на листке. Класс должен отгадать о чем идет речь.

разрезаны на две части. Используем листки из альбома, пишем разными
фломастерами. Раскладываем листы на парте, ищем соответствующую половинку.

Всем ученикам
дано задание написать по одному предложению о четырех странах. Однако, буквы в
названиях этих стран перепутаны. Догадайтесь о каких странах идет речь и
напишите предложения, используя в них названия стран.

11. PICTURE MIX-UP
Возьмем
известное всем здание, изображенное на фотографии. Разрежем фотографию со
зданием на горизонтальные отрезки. Около каждого отрезка ставим букву в
алфавитном порядке. Наклеиваем полоски в любой очередности на лист. Надо
отгадать какое это здание. Постараться сложить его из полос. Можно полоски
вырезать и складывать в нужной последовательности.
12. CLAP YOUR HANDS.
Ученикам предлагается прослушать текст о Лондоне. В этом тексте
встречаются не соответствующие действительности факты. Задача учеников хлопнуть
в ладоши, когда они услышат неправильный факт.

text is about London. London is situated upon the both banks of the river Severn. It is the largest city in Great Britain and one of the largest in the world.
They say that London is one hundred years old. Its population is about
1 million people. London consists of two parts: the City of London
and the West End. The West End is the poorest part of London. The
City is the political centre. A lot of tourists visit London every year.
