II. Post-lesson
reflection note
1. The
lesson was held in the 3rd form. The pupils are 9-10 years old.
Leading learning styles are linguistic, visual, auditory, kinaesthetic and
interpersonal. Pupils like the English lessons; they are very attentive and
active. The teacher uses: Course-book English 3, V.P. Kuzovlev, N.M. Lapa,
Moscow, Prosveshcheniye, 2013, Activity Book, audio discs, printable handouts …
2. The
following words and grammar structures were worked with in the lesson: a
blouse, a boot, clothes, a coat, a dress, to go for a walk, a hat, jeans, to
put on, a shoe, shorts, a skirt, a sweater, trousers, a T-shirt, a uniform,
warm; I’d like to buy.., Would you like to have…? When I go for a walk, I put
on…
3. The
presentation stage was organized with the help of the Power Point Presentation,
course-book and a doll. The following techniques were used: using objects,
drawings, pictures and illustrations, guessing from context, translation,
surveys.
4. In
the practice stage the following activities were used: using puppets, word
snake, matching words to pictures, answering the questions.
5. The
children liked all the activities, because the topic was interesting to them
and the activities were different. Also they liked to work in pairs and in
groups and played games with pleasure. Pupils enjoyed the lesson. Their happy
smiles and the words Thank you! It was great! At the end of the lesson
prove this. Pupils really learned the words and grammar structures as they
demonstrated this on the following lesson.
6. The
pupils and the teacher were glad and pleased with the lesson.
