Compere 1:
What words can describe woman’s beauty? Can you remember any of them?
Compere 2:
Yes, I can. Beautiful, pretty, wonderful, nice, charming … This can be continued.
Compere 1: Woman cannot only be one’s mother, wife, sister
and daughter. She could rule the whole country, be an outstanding actress,
singer, sportswoman or writer.
Sonnet 130
William Shakespeare
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red than her lips' red;
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damasked, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks,
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound;
I grant I never saw a goddess go -
My mistress when she walks treads on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare.
Compere 2: All people know such names as Cleopatra,
Catherine the Great, Elizabeth II, Victoria, Indira Gandhi, Margaret Thatcher
and Princess Diana.

as the beautiful and ruthless queen of Egypt who nearly succeeded in her aim of

Cleopatra:
I
was born in Alexandria, and became the last of the Ptolemaic dynasty from
Greece to rule Egypt. On the death of my father in 51 B. I married, and shared
the throne Egypt with her brother Ptolemy Xlll Philopater. Julius Caesar
defeated and killed Ptolemy at the battle of Alexandria in 47 BC, and became
the effective ruler of Egypt.
Compere 2: A lesser known fact is
that Cleopatra was highly educated and possessed an impressive intellect, being
a student of philosophy and international relations.
Princess Diana (29 July 1981- August 31, 1997). I am bright, amazing woman, an extraordinary person, one of the most
famous people of her time- such was Diana, Princess of Wales. My nickname is
Lady Di. About me filmed a series of moves, written a lot of books in all
languages.
Compere 1: UK residents adored her and called her the Queen
of Hearts, and the sympathy of the world appeared in a short but warm nickname
Lady Di, also known in history. But the answer to the main question- about
whether Diana really happy ever in its bright, but very difficult and such a
short life will forever remain a hidden
mystery.
Compere 2: Biography and career of this extraordinary woman is still a subject
of undying interest of millions of people. In memory of the children she is
destined to forever remain the Queen of hearts, and not only in his native
country, but all over the world.
Indira Gandhi:
I was a daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first prime minister and
politician. I joined my father’s Congress Party in 1938. After my father’s
death, I was elected to Parliament in his place, becoming Prime Minister myself
in 1966. I continued many of my father’s policies, such as pressing for land
reform and the nationalization of banks. But India suffered great economic
troubles during my watch. In 1977 I lost an election and even faced charges of
corruption. Later I reorganized my party and won re-election as Prime Minister
in 1980. I was assassinated by a bodyguard and succeeded by son, Rajiv.

ministerial posts. In 1974 I was elected leader of the Conservative Party, and
brought my party to victory in 1979.
Compere 2: She earned the nickname “The Iron
Lady” because of her hard line against the USSR over their invasion of Afghanistan,
and because of her quick military invention when Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands. In 1990 she resigned as Prime Minister, although she stayed in Parliament
until 1992.

68 novels and short story collections, over a dozen plays. In 1971, I achieved
my country’s highest honor when I received the Order of Dame Commander of the British Empire.
Coco Chanel. My
name is Coco Chanel. I’m from France. I showed the world that women could
design and market fabulous fashions as well as wear them. Born out of wedlock
and raised by nuns in French orphanages, I started as a seamstress; during a
brief career as a chanteuse, I supposedly took my nickname from a popular song.
Bankrolled by a wealthy lover; I opened my Paris boutique in 1914 and became a
huge hit. I freed women from their corsets and confining clothes. Borrowing
from men’s wear; I made comfort chic, with my jersey cardigan jackets, short
skirts or trousers and low – heeled shoes. I also produced the first designer
fragrance “Chanel No. 5” in 1923. It is famous with women all over the world.

Student: Poem “Phenomenal Woman” by
Maya Angelou
I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
“Girl” группы
“The Beatles”.
Compere 2: Women can run fast, jump
high and far, ski quickly and skate beautifully. Many Russian sportswomen
became famous in different sports not only in our country but abroad, too. And,
of course, the best one was Irina Rodnina, who won ten world championships and
three Olympic gold medals.
Compere 1: Famous female athletes
are Sonja Henie, Larissa Latynina, Olga Korbut, Nadia Comaneci, Alina Kabaeva,
Svetlana Khorkina and Anna Kurnikova.
Poem “Phenomenal Woman”
Maya Angelou
Part III
Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
Compere 1: Madonna, Edith Piaf,
Edita Piekha, Whitney Houston and Alla Pugacheva are famous all over the world
for singing their beautiful songs.
Compere 1: How boring was cinema
without such brilliant actresses as Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe, Lyubov’
Orlova, Lyudmila Gurchenko.
Compere 1: Madonna is, of course,
the ultimate icon. The musical masterpieces, groundbreaking videos, starring
film roles, charitable causes, and now the greatest role of all – Lourdes’ and
Rocco’s mom! Through the chameleonlike changes, all the controversies and clamor,
and now the joys of motherhood, it seems that the modern woman of legend has
done it all: singer – composer – producer – author – actor – model – you name
it. Not only can she do it all; there is nothing, it seems, she hasn’t tried …
at least once!

Compere 1: Whitney
Houston is a remarkably successful singer with a worldwide reputation, Whitney
Houston has won five Grammy Awards, several American Music Awards and the

Festival.
Poem “She walks in Beauty”
She walks in Beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which Heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.
And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below.
Compere 1:
All women are beautiful, wonderful, charming and brilliant but if they are also
clever and successful, they are unrivalled.
A Red, Red Rose
Robert Burns
O my luve is like a red,
red rose,
That's newly sprung in June:
O my Luve is like the melodie,
That's sweetly play'd in tune.
As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry.
Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi' the sun;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o' life shall run.
And fare-thee-well, my only luve!
And fare-thee-well, a while!
And I will come again, my luve,
Tho' it were ten thousand mile!
Compere 2:
Our party is over. thank you for coming and goodbye.
