Good afternoon,
dear friends!
Nice
to meet you! I am very glad to greet you here at our lesson. Moreover, I am
very proud to see you here as participants of our Jeopardy Game.
It’s
not a secret, that you all learn English. You know, that English is a native
language of Great Britain. But what do you know about this country?
Do
you like to travel? Do you want to visit Britain? I hope one day you'll be able
to go there to see this beautiful country and its sights with your own eyes.
But
today let’s all together make a short imaginary journey to Great Britain. I’m
sure you have already known a lot about this country and its people, but some

Объяснение правил
игры
Well…
And are you ready to play?
Our
game is devoted to a mysterious, amazing world, the world of English.
First
of all I’d like to introduce the rules of the game to you. This game is played
in two teams. And let’s divide into 2 teams.
OK.
We have 2 teams which are called … and … .
Our
game has five sections; in each section, there are five questions. According to
their difficulty, each question may bring you from 10 to 50 points. The right
to answer the first question belongs to the team, which raises its emblem up
first.
Team
1 chooses a category and a point amount (for example: Famous People for 20
points). They have one minute to think it over. If the answer is correct, they
get the points they have chosen. If the answer is incorrect, Team 2 gets a
chance to answer and get the points. Both teams play in turn. The team with the
most points at the end of the game wins.
And
there is “A Cat in a bag” question. The team can answer the question or give it
another team.
So,
if everything is clear to you, take your answer sheets and we are starting
right now.
