Цели и задачи урока:
Учебный аспект: формирование лексических навыков говорения, развитие
умения понимать англоязычную речь на слух, совершенствование грамматических
навыков.
Развивающий аспект: развитие
способности к сравнению, обобщению.
Воспитательный аспект: формирование терпимого отношения к попыткам
самовыражения молодежи и понимания этих попыток.

ХОД УРОКА
1.
Организационный момент.
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! I'm glad to meet
you. You may sit down.
Today have a special lesson, we have guests who want to
see how you work and how you speak English.
We are going again to speak about different groupings,
their clothes, music and their values. Besides, we' ll try to find out why do
young people choose a subculture.
First of all some phonetic exercises.
2. Речевая
зарядка (brainstorming).
Teacher: Look at the blackboard, please. You know that
young people have a particular relationship with the whole world. They want to
express their individuality. How do they do it?

3. Обучение
устной речи.
1) Most young people follow some kind of youth culture.
Let’s describe some of them.
What can you tell about hippies… bikers… hackers?
2) As you see they are not mainstream organizations,
their interests are different from those of most people. Very often their
behaviour is disapproved of by most people. Such people have a distinct style
and identity, believes and value systems, fashion and music.
Could you give the definition of the notion “subculture”.
3) There is another set of groups which are really
positive. They are respected by almost everybody. Can you give their names?
Scouts / young farmers / volunteers / environmentalists
Who are they?
What do they usually do?
4) Why do teens join the group? Why do they express
themselves individually?
Pupils: I think ….
5) Some teens do not join any movements and
organizations. But they also have a lot of ways of express their individuality.
What are these ways? Finish my sentences:
- If somebody wants to be an Olympic champion, he/she …
- If somebody plays the guitar and wants to be a
musician, he/she …
- If somebody enjoys painting, he/she …
- If a person is crazy about playing different ball
games, he/she …
6) What ways of expressing individuality do you prefer?

4. Обучение
аудированию
As you have already told teens express themselves in
clothes. So let’s listen five teenagers from different countries answering the
questions: What is the lifestyle of a teenager in your home place like? How
would you describe your style in dress? What kind of music do you like?
Open your Student’s Books on page 97.
You’ll hear the recording twice and match the speakers
and what each speaker says.
5. Повторение
грамматики (like/as)
Maybe you heard the opinion the teenagers today are
similar in some way to teenagers some years ago. Let’s open the Activity Books
and complete the ex.5, p.32 using words “like” and “as” which help to link two
parts of the sentences.
6. Подведение
итогов урока.
T. I think you know a lot about different groupings. You
can identify them, you know their positive and negative features, their music,
their values. I’m sure you can be able to find your own way in life, your
fashion, your style. I wish you to be healthy, wealthy and wise! Be happy!
