Открытый урок английского языка в 8 классе по теме

" Экология"

" Are you a friend of planet?"

Цель урока:

1. Развивать у учащихся навыки разговорной речи в виде диалогических и монологических высказываний по теме урока.

Задачи урока:

1.Активизировать лексику по теме " Экология".

2.Формировать грамматические навыки освоенного материала.

3.Формировать ответственность за сохранение окружающей среды.

4.Развивать интерес к изучению инностранных языков и оказывать поддержку в этом начинании.

Оснащение урока: рисунки детей на тему " Защита окружающей

среды", компьютер.

На доске написана тема "Environment"

Motto: " If you don't think of the future, you will have nothing"

Ход урока:

В начале урока звучат звуки природы и на экране показывается фильм о природе родного края. Учащиеся читают наизусть эссе на тему " В храме природы"

I. Организационный момент:

Teacher: Hello, boys and girls! Lets today we discuss environment problems.We have speak about it and have learnt enough words. Please,look at the blackboard and try to read them.

II. Повторение основной лексики:

pollution ecology

environment recycling

acid rain nature

industrial waste wild world

cut down trees protect

a lot of litter be empty of fish

chemical waste alarming predictions

III.T: Very good! Go on working and answer my questions.

1. Do you like our nature?

2. Do you think our nature is in danger?

3. Do we have many environmental problems?

4. What are they?

P: Называют проблемы окружающей среды.

1. P:The first problem is pollution nature, air, water, land. Land, air, water are important for plants, animals birds, fish and people

T: Explain, please!

P: Human have been living on our planet for two million years, and in the last two hundred years humans have made a mess of the planet: chopped trees, killed animals, polluted air, land water.

2. It is rubbish problem. Every day we take rubbish out.

T: Explain, please!

P:In our region we haven’t plants and factories, air is polluted by cars and water and land are polluted by rubbish.

3. Forests are cutting and animals are killing.

4. It is the nuclear power and the greenhouse effect.

T: Explain, please!

P: the Earth has been getting hotter because we are producing too many greenhouse gases. Trees and plants help to take this gases from the atmosphere, but we have destroyed too many trees now.

IV. Okey, children. You know that it is important to decide these problems. And we must save our planet. You have prepared some projects. They are connected with our topic. But first of all, listen forecast for tomorrow. The weather depends on the ecology problems.

1) Well, Andrey,tell us the weather forecast for tomorrow.

В зависимости от ситуации, ученик сообщает прогноз погоды своей местности.

It's very important to know the weather forecast. And I'll tell it for you:

mainly sunny, the day temperature seven bellow zero. In the evening will be warm. Good weather for works. Thank you for attention.

2) Our nature is very beautiful. Natasha and Vika defend their project how to protect our forest: рисунок красивой природы.

Ps: Our place is not rich forests. But our beautiful trees are cut and burn every year.So, plants bushes, flowers and wild nature are dying. Our nature is in danger. If we don’t think of the future, we will have nothing.

3) Now, boys, Dima and Dima tell us a water problems: рисунок реки с мусором.

Ps:Save water! If the trees are the lungs of our planet, water is the blood of planet. Everything and everybody needs water and can’t live without it. Don’t waste bodies of water with bottles, tins, paper, butts, oil and other things. Where will you rest on a hot sunny days? Certainly, by the river or a lake. So, protect water by any means you can.

4) Let’s not forget about animals. So, boys, Andrei and Alexander go to defend animals.

Ps: FWW- is the Fond Wild World. We protect birds and animals, because many of them are disappearing. We are against small cages and zoos where animals live. It’s unfair. We must open Safari Park. Animals will live here freely like they live in nature. Visitors are able to go through the Safari Park in cars and buses.

5) Now, we listen about Green Peace. What is it and what do they do?

P: The volunteers of this organization work all over the world. The aim of this work to protect nature and to save the wild world. When we watch TV, we see how they save ocean birds and animals from petrol. They clean sea water from petrol and oil, which tankers leave after disasters. They are fighting with companies which nuclear waste into air, water, land.

6)T: Ann and Ann will speak from the Globe.

Ps: As if the Globe can speak and it calls to us (рисунок глобуса с повязкой на голове, уголки рта опущены, глобус призывает спасти его от гибели).

Help me, please!

7) There are Power Electric Stations in the Volga and the Don , factories in our city – Volgograd. Volga and our river Don are now empty of fish, every day we can see a thick foam caused by chemical waste and pollute our water.

T: What advice do you give of how to help nature?
