Relevance

 It is impossible to get an idea of Russia without getting acquainted with its capital.

The study of sights and monuments plays an important role and helps to better understand our country.

Hypothesis

If you collect interesting, entertaining material about the sights and monuments of Moscow, then students will form and develop a Patriotic consciousness.

Goal 

to аctivate the thought-search activity of classmates, systematize and deepen knowledge about Moscow.

Tasks

 Introduce classmates to historical monuments and sights of Moscow.

To form their image of the Moscow Kremlin and red square as a unique complex of architectural and historical monuments of the Moscow state.

Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation, a city of Federal significance, the administrative center of the Central Federal district and the center of the Moscow region, the largest city in Russia by population .

St. Basil's Cathedral is one of the 5 most famous sights in Moscow

St. Basil's Cathedral celebrated its 450th anniversary on 02.07.2011. This unique structure was built on red square. Amazing in its beauty, the temple is a complex of churches United by a common Foundation.

Red square and the Kremlin. The leaders of all attractions in the Russian capital are the Kremlin and Red square. This is not just the greatest monument of architectural structures — it is a symbol of greatness and inviolability. Spasskaya tower is the main part of the historical heritage. For tourists, the entrance is closed. The clock-chimes installed on it indicate the exact time at which the whole country lives.

The Bolshoi theatre is an iconic symbol of the rich spiritual culture of all of Russia. The date of its birth is considered to be December 30, 1780. The initiator of the construction was Prince Peter Urusov. In 1805, as a result of a fire, the building burned down. After 11 years, Dmitry Golitsyn decided to restore the theater. Thanks to the efforts of architects Mikhailov and Bove, on January 6, 1825, a new revival of the Bolshoi theater took place. In 1853, a fire occurred again, which caused great damage to the building. But it was miraculously preserved, thanks to the formal recognition of the Russian culture in 1922. During the war, the building was destroyed by a bomb. In 1943, the building was restored.

Planetarium

 The first stone of the Moscow planetarium was laid in 1928. The mystery of the Universe plunges into the atmosphere of an immense space. It allows you to forget about everyday worries and problems for a while, and realize your place on this planet.

Gorky Park

Gorky Park is a very bright attraction of the capital. The number of different attractions won the hearts of many people. Its history dates back to 1923.

The Monument to Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky was erected on red Square on February 20, 1818. It is dedicated to the leaders of the people's militia, who made a huge contribution to the victory over Poland in 1612. In 1808, a special Imperial Manifesto was issued to raise funds for the monument. Initially, the sculpture of folk heroes was planned to be installed in Nizhny Novgorod, where the liberation of Russia from the Polish invaders began. But later it was decided to install it in Moscow.

The monument to Alexander Pushkin

The monument to Alexander Pushkin was erected in 1880 at the beginning of Tverskoy Boulevard. In 1950, the monument was moved to a new location on Pushkin square, where it still stands today. The monument is made in bronze by the sculptor Alexander Opekushin.  

Ostankino tower Ostankino tower is a 45-storey tower with powerful television and radio broadcasting equipment. It has no analogues in the world in terms of equipment. It has a height of 0.54 km. Many additional balconies and platforms are used rationally throughout the building. The tower is available for excursions to all viewing platforms.

The main building of the Moscow state University is the largest and tallest of all Stalin's skyscrapers.

It has 36 floors, and the height with a spire reaches 240 meters. The building was the tallest administrative and residential building in Moscow along the spire for many years, from 1953 until December 2003.

Conclusion

During our research work, we learned a lot about the capital of our country. Moscow leaves excellent impressions, it is beautiful and majestic. This city is one of the first places in terms of the number of tourists per year.

In the course of our work, we introduced our classmates to the historical monuments and sights of Moscow, and formed an image of the main attractions as a unique complex of architectural and historical monuments. As a result of our work, we have activated the students ' thought and search activities, systematized and deepened their knowledge of Moscow.
