Разработка урока "Польза чтения"

    

          Цели урока – формирование коммуникативно-речевых действий при передаче информации и отображения предметного содержания деятельности.          Задачи учебного занятия:

·        Воспитание у детей любви к чтению, потребности общения с книгой;

·        Развитие у школьников ассоциативно-образного мышления, чувств и эмоций;

·        Формирование у учащихся навыков работы с информацией, её переработкой и предоставлением информации.

Оборудование: интерактивная доска, мультимедийный проектор, компьютер.

Этапы урока:

1.    Организационный момент.

2.    Совершенствование навыков изучающего чтения по теме «Книги и чтения в России» на основе материалов, предоставленных зарубежными источниками.

3.    Тренировка навыков устной речи на основе прочитанного текста.

4.    Развитие навыков монологической речи. Комментарии высказываний известных людей о чтении, выражений своей точки зрения .

5.    Актуализация лексики по теме «Польза чтения»

6.    Развитие навыков выполнения проектной деятельности.

7.    Подведение итогов, выставление оценок, домашнее задание.

Ход урока.

1.     Приветствие и организационный момент.

T. Good morning, boys and girls! Glad to meet you here.

 Today we are going to speak about libraries, writers, their books and reading itself. The theme of our lesson is «Reading is usefull.»

2.     Совершенствование навыков изучающего чтения по теме «Книги и чтение в России» на основе материалов, предоставленных зарубежными источниками.

Т. Reading is not very popular nowadays, I should say. And I am sorry about it. Now I`d like to show you the materials of one foreign source. 1000 Russian people were asked their preferencesin reading. The results you can see on the screen. Examine it. And them let`s discuss the problem «Books and Reading in Russia».

There are no good books

·       «There are no normal books on sale»; «I think there is nothing to read».

They use computers and electronic catalogues. Please remember the text “The Printed Word” from your textbooks and answer my questions.

Т.  Thank you very much. I know that every one of you enjoy reading and has got a favourite write. And, of course, you all can tell us a lot of interesting facts about their lives and creation. But today we’ll choose only one of  you. Now we’ll watch a presentation about _______’s favourite writer. Please come to the stage. Tell us some words about him. Be very attentive. Open the presentation on the computer.

Summing up. I want to finish our lesson with the words of  Charles Kingsley “Except a living man, there is nothing more wonderful than a book.”

I hope you understand that without books our life will be empty and boring. Read good books, enjoy them and think.

1.     The world of  books is full of wonders. Reading books you can find yourself in different lands, countries, seas, oceans. Together with the chatacters of the book you go by ship in the stormy sea,  you climb high mountains, you fly into space, you have a lot adventures. By reading we develop our imagination, logical thinking  and broaden the outlook, the value of  books is undeniable.

2.     Books give us necessary information and a clever book is a good friend with whom you can discuss a lot. Books include interesting photos,  biographical details and statistics, a lot of unknown facts. Books help us to solve our problems, to discover new thing and to escape from routine every day life. A good humorous book is an entertaining reading.

3.     Each book is a magic world full of interesting and unknown things and when we read books we get a lot of useful information. We get knowledge not only from reference books encyclopedias and dictionaries. Fiction books are  also interesting to us. We choose authors depending on our taster and interests. We enjoy reading them, live the life of charters, we feel happy and sad with them.

3)    Libraries.

                              I.            Whats is a library?

1.     A library is a collection of books. If we have fifty or sixty books at home we say that we have the library of our own.

2.     A library is also a room for a collection of books.

3.     A library is also a building where a collection of books is kept.

4.     A library is a place from which we may borrow books.

                          II.            What cities of the world have great libraries?

1.     There is the British Museum Library in London.

2.     Washington has the Library of Congress.

3.     I can name the State Public Library in Moscow and Bib;iotheque Nationale in Paris.

                       III.            What is the world’s the largest library?

The world’s largest is the US Library of  Congress. It holds about 90 million items – books and manuscripts. The library was founded in 1800 in Washington, DC for the use of Congress and later became a public library.
